I'd like to see people do a minimum of 500 posts before they can become a super member, that way it will only be loyal boxigscene members who get the status.

Even with the increase in price its still easy to get if ask the right people for karma.

yeah im really not caring for it either, cuz everyone can now be a supermember, people who dont have 100 posts or havent been here a month

Is not, I have only 200 something posts, and I'm a Super Member, I think the price should be alot higher though, because I mean, 1 million is not too hard to get in order to be one

i think points should be lot higher and post count, alltho i have no idea what being a supermember is... it sure sounds better than a normal member :p

I have no problem with you being a supermember, your a good poster from what i have read and i have even give you good karma, but i'd still rather you(and others) to have posted at least 500-1000 before you could get supermember.

Its not like you would have to wait long away because you have become a good, regular user.

I just think people like P4P, etc should be a level above most of us because of their contribution to the forum.

Trust me, when the time comes. Post count, post substance, lenght of membership and other factors will be looked at real close. Members who busted their ass to get to there status, we know who you are, will be easily in. Others who took shortcuts, may be cut from the status if we feel they don't fit.

I know, but ive been a member for a month, only have 250 posts, and don't deserve it, I posted about this on abdiel's super member thread

i think the major factors boxingscene.com team will be counting is length of membership and number of posts, then if you fall below the standard set on this, then they probably look into the substance of the posts ....

like what you said, i think Rick will also return the points used to purchase supermember status then really nobody will loose out whomever will be cut, hopefully i wont be...
