Jones was so fast slow motion cameras had difficulty capturing his combos

Jones is the fastest boxer I have ever seen.

Just imagine how fast his hands would have looked without hand wraps and boxing gloves on.

He would have been lethal on the street!

I give the foot speed to leonard, other than that jones is the faster overall.

What he said^ He was the fastest and the GREATEST EVER. ROY JONES rivaled only the GODS in his prime

Yep I'd edge prime Roy for footspeed too. His Ali like shuffles were pretty blinding!

Jones was faster when he WASN'T at his peak. Jones in the Olympics had maybe the fastest hands I've ever seen.

In terms of single shots,I've never seen a fighter as fast as Roy Jones. But Leonard's combinations and the way that he could mix them was just brilliant and I give him the edge over Roy there, although he was brilliant when he chose to put his punches together.

Absolutely not. Nobody threw combo's with speed as devastating as Roy Jones.

At there peak?????you post a very good question,i think that they were both fast at their natural weights, just like ali was fast at his natural weight, watching the hand speed of ali,and leonard and jones jr,is a thrill when it comes to seeing their blazing hand speed while throwing combinations:boxing:

P4P Jones, Leonard is a walterweight and Jones is a middleweight, but not P4P is very close, probably I go with Leonard

i think that these three have really got the fans approval as probably the fastest men in the history of the sport, not only were the hands blazing fast, what about the feet,to use the speedy hands with the lighting footwork in sequence with combinations hitting their opponents at will is a thrill to watch:boxing:

Jones. No Contest.

His speed, both of foot and hand was ridiculous. Leonard was a very fast (and great) fighter, but I never had the problem of thinking that I was looking at an alien.

Jones punched fast and with power, Leonard was faster with less power. But the fastest I've ever seen was Hector Camacho. Watch his fights with Limon, Ramirez. Any fight before Rosario, and you'll see what I mean.
