No.....its not possible. Socio-economic circumstances and cultural differences are not applicable to families.

Middle Eastern families definitely still have the boy vs girl being treated very differently, although it's changing slowly. I lived in Saudi Arabia for a few months and I wasn't allowed to go anywhere or have any friends over. I had to follow certain customs that have nothing to do with my culture, but theirs.

Asians work harder in most cases and parents are much more strict.

We have Samoans around here and they along with Latinos are more family oriented than white folks.

Blacks have more attitude, although there are many similarities with whites, such as the many parents are like "Not my kid, he didn't do nothing"

Latinos have different customs as well, but they definitely have more of the religion upbringing.

In many ways, everyone raises their kids the same, and in many ways, they are VERY different.

These are all based on my perspective and experiences. We have all types of families at the high school my kids go to.

Ya When people say White parents are less strict it is false they should be more clear and say WHITE AMERICAN because when I went to Europe to visit some family wow the kids are respectful and caring and love their family, the parents and grand parents Actually tell their kids stories and talk with their kids.

I think there are mojor differences in the way cultures raise their children. Education is more important to some cultures than others for instance.

My wife and I are white American parent and we are very strict and our children are respectful and very well behaved. They have also being brought up to value education and to have a strong spiritual and moral base.

We may not fit the norm.

You are the exception, people have been complaining that MTV controls the kids but the truth is the parents in america do not guide their kids they always use the excuse we are too busy! but studies show if you talk to your kids about their day and show just a little bit of interest a day it really helps alot.

Too many unfit parents and then they get mad and say you cannot TAKE my god given right to be a parent! I hate that **** I always say to them learn to be an adult before having kids.

Santino is one of the exceptions. We're strict ourselves here. I don't always get the respect that I should from my son, but he's easily influenced by others. SUmmer is nice because I have been able to control who he hangs with more than during school.

My best friend lives in La and the schools back up the parents so much out there. The kids have to say Miss Nancy to me instead of Nancy, etc. I don't always have the schools backing me up here. Makes it hard since they're at school most of the day. But we prevail.

For the record, I love tv controls.....I have all of mine set for TV14 and above cannot be watched without the passwords...triple set. We caught our son ordering a playboy channel.....BUSTED! At least we know he's not gay. ;)

Well dont worry your son is probally just going through a stage he is getting older and ya know when I was that age I was a bit rebellious but I out grew it. It is difficult but I think that being a parent and a good parent is a blessing!

No they don't...
They abandon them by the age of 3, & the child is forced to survive, & raise himself/herself, all alone.

damn dog...the "j/k" stands for "just kidding".

Thailanders don't abandon their kids, they just beat them to the point where the children choose to run away.

Out of all the nationalities I have come in contact with...

I think I came across good mexican, european, asian families.

My ex gf was half filipino and her filipino family are really great people, very friendly. I learned alot from them they seem to have great family skills and discipline the kids and have a caring family.

Also They are very smart people I visited the P.I with her and her folks and filipinos have to learn English as a 2nd language I found that very cool. I just wish the poverty rate lowered it trully is a beautiful country with nice people.
