View Full Version : Anyone who owns NCAA 06
Ignignot 07-18-2005, 06:11 PM Is anyone else having trouble passing on this game? I play it on Heisman and usually go like 6-25 for 87 yards 3 INTs and no TDs.
If I play on All American, I go like 20-30 for 325 yards and 4 TDs and 0 picks.
2nd II none 07-18-2005, 06:12 PM Uh usually when you turn the difficulty level it gets harder to play.
Pico Hollywood 07-18-2005, 06:26 PM yeah it gets harder when the difficulty level is more advanced when'd the game come out?
hell no. I have no trouble at all. Just run the football and throw play action passes on first or second down, and you will always have good matchups on the outside. Usually the comp blitzes and keeps their middle open, and crossing patterns are really simple to throw also.

I have 04 version. Is there really any difference between O6 and O4? And yeah, O4 is hard on heisman, you have to be adept at running the football to win on heisman I think. And the crossing routes are easy to run. On heisman I tend to run alot and throw quick short passes usually to the middle or to the flat.
On all american you can throw the 40 yard bomb down field all day long even with bad teams. In that game the only thing I have a problem with defence. My defence is kinda crap. Especially on Heisman I can never stop them.
The best thing about the college football games in teh option play. Notre Dame in 04 is the best option offence in teh game.
Ignignot 07-18-2005, 06:34 PM I know the game is more difficult when you turn the level up *******s, but it is too easy on All American.
Runs with Knives, which team are you using? I use Pitt and their offensive line is trash.
The game came out last week and there are minor differences between this and 04.

.
Notre Dame
The Troll 07-18-2005, 06:45 PM Notre Dame
Notre Dame's option offence is unstoppage in 04 if you know how to run it correctly, and mix the options up. I also like running a west coast type offence with Notre Dame. The option fake play action freezes the **** out of anybody or any AI team alot of the time, but it takes time to develop.
The crossing route over the middle is my ace on 3rd and long though.
The Troll 07-18-2005, 06:51 PM In 04 the Pac 10 teams have sick passing games. Like USC and Oregon, UCLA. I like to play with Oregon alot in that game as well. They have a sick offence, passing and running, and their defensive blitz can be deveastating.
Prize_Fighter2K5 07-18-2005, 06:54 PM yea i owned that game and i always play on heisman because the rest of the levels are to easy..and i run the ball all day and have at least 400 yards a game
Ignignot 07-18-2005, 07:18 PM If I have a fast QB, I can run for like 400 yards. If not, I usually get about 150.
What sucks is that Pitt's QB is awesome, and way faster than he is in the game in real life, but I can't use them because I throw like 5 INTs a game.
