Off the juice that's certainly accurate. On the juice it's very debatable.

why is it a FACT that he aint greater than those you have listed?

-Roberto Duran
-Mickey Walker
-Pernell Whitaker
-Barney Ross

these you have listed must have all won more than 7 world titles in different weights and been officially recognised as "Fighter of the Decade" during their careers as well as being voted Fighter of the Year on at least 4 occasions otherwise your FACT is wrong

Stop nuthugging. He got the award 3 times (2006, 2008, 2009) by people who actually do ratings regularly. The off year he missed, 2007, he gets voted for it by the WBHOF, who did not recognize him as such in the 3 years he actually deserved it. The real FOTY for 2007 was Floyd Mayweather Jr.

yes 3 times... so those listed would have to win it 4 times like i stated but they never achieved that feat not even between them all together.. yet i am in your opinion "nuthugging" for pointing out their achievements yet IMO it seems like you are `hating`

You're nuthugging because you're exaggerating paper accomplishments. The fighters mentioned above did far more important things. For one they were all undisputed Champions in at least one division. Pacquiao has never been that in any of his 7. You can talk about his lineal titles but really in only one 1 of them (Featherweight) was it actually really impressive. The other guys were clearly not the best in their division at the time, or he deserved to lose the fight.

FACT!

Id say pacs right up with those guys. He certainly doesn't surpass them yet tho, he has to fight and beat Mayweather first!

7 weight world champion my ass. There's 4 titles in every division and Pacquiao won most of his titles off of paper champions. Stick to undisputed, unified and lineal championships.

The only real divisions he should be declared champion in is flyweight, featherweight, super featherweight (even though he won it by a highly controversial decision) and light welterweight.

The other divisions - no.

Every one of those fighters mentioned is greater than Pacquiao.

Ross - 3 (undisputed lightweight, light welterweight and welterweight champion)
Duran - 2 (undisputed lightweight champion and lineal welterweight champion)
Whitaker - 2 (undisputed light champion and lineal welterweight champion)
Walker - 2 (undisputed welterweight and middleweight champion)

But the thing is, everyone knows that the undisputed championship claim is number one. And neither Pacquiao or any of those four champions he won the titles from were undisputed champions.

Ross, Duran, Whitaker and Walker, on the other hand, were, and they all had much better championship reigns than Pacquiao.

There is zero proof Pac has ever juiced, and assumptions don't make facts. Pac is great and probably closest to Whitaker, but I wouldn't put him above any of those named.

funny there was just a thread in NSB about those socalled undisputed/lineal/ring/alphabet championship belts and i swear most floyd fans that posted there say lineal is the best coz you beat the man who beat the man, etc...

you may be undisputed if you got most of the belts but w/o the lineal, it still doesnt hold up to it. these quotes came from them.

He may lose a head to head matchup to Whitaker, but Pacquiao has risen further and won more. His legacy is better in my eyes.
