Because alot of liberals believe that if you are not some PC, athiest, you might offend someone and if you show the smallest amount of nationalism you must be some war mongering redneck....

Its showing how liberals view things. Personally I could give a **** less what you call Christmas, the thing is theres people who care and that would be the liberals. The liberals for the most part are well dressed, proper spoken, educated people. The people who defend christmas and "patriotism" on the main front showing to people eyes are indeed rednecks. I know some of you are like "Thats dumb keep this the same and yada" but the way it is the only people who care enough to make a stand are rednecks from the south, who are the opposite from the liberals. Mostly evangelists who I can only watch to laugh and and sound like they're always pissed. The OP (opening poster) point was liberals are starting to call those people rednecks because most of the time the people who openly debate those issues are rednecks so they get grouped. Pointless paragraph by me...again....it has some points if you can pick them out, might be hard to do though so I apologize never took journalism in college :(

Being a Nationalist isn't a bad thing. The thing is though in America most of the outspoken Nationalists are inbred redneck morons, who have a wierd accent (no offense southerners or suthners). That being said they give all people who like America a bad name, especially in the military. You should see the people who join (mainly the marines) (again no offense) these days. Doesn't matter if they're from the south or not they have a rural accent and said the only reason they join is to "Git me onea dem towels ta hang up on ma shelf at home". I just shook my head seeing them. If your not like that your a "coward or anti-american". If your like them your a "moron" or a "redneck". Its lose lose pretty much but, thats the gist of it anyhow.
