I was looking at these pictures published in Time Magazine from that bombing incident which happened in London recently and I imagined myself... what if I am one of the people caught up inside that situation? I had experienced it before and that was pretty scary. There were lots of screaming everywhere, lots of stampeding & all the people wanted was to get out into a safe place. It was a day when I was still in college striving to earn a degree. And it was in that fateful day in 1990 when a terrible earthquake hit our land (God how can I forget). I was on the 4th floor of a six-storey building and the only thing I can think of was run, run, and go down as quickly as I can. Thank heavens for the building was so tough it didn't collapsed. I am still lucky I survived, while other people from other areas which was hit massively by it, did not.

Haven't been involved in anything too serious. Scariest probably was being in the middle of downtown Montreal after the '95 separatist referendum results came through. There was a bit of trouble but there were tons of riot cops there so nothing too bad happened. By that time Montreal had acquired a certain reputation for rioting so they were prepared.

Other than that I've had a few kitchen fires which could have gotten bad. Thing is in a bad situation I find that I get supremely calm. I think I'm a bit of a fatalist when it comes to these things...if you're number's up, your number's up, right? Plus keeping calm is the only way you're going to be able to do something about the situation. Plus when you know that you'll act that way when the time comes makes you worry less about anything bad happening.

I saw 9/11 unfold from across the Hudson River from my Hoboken apartment, but nothing too widespread serious. Everytime I talk to a girl is a panic situation for me.

when i was 15 my older cusin got me into a disco, everything was alrite until a fight started then we heard gun shots and everyone started running i remember just as soos as i saw a halway just pushed my cusin(who was a female) in it and then got into an office until we heard the guns stop, then just sprinted to her car and left. funny thing i never knew how it felt to be soo scared until i asked my current girlfriend in a date, then had to meet her dad.
