Man this would be an awesome match up. Both Kronk Gym prodigies trained by Emanual Stewart and both one punch KO Artist. Both were fast starters so I dont think either man would try to feel the other one out. They would go straight at eachother like Hagler and Hearns and it would all depend on who would crush who first with a devestating punch. What do you think?

I agree, both can land some very hard clean shots that can put opponents away easily, I think this fight will come down to who has the better chin (even though I think the G-Man hits slightly harder at 160 than Hearns does.) I would pick McClellan KO in 5..

That's for sure. I go with the G-Man with a 6th round KO

Hearns, knowing he was facing a huge puncher, would look to outbox McClellan....& he'd succeed in doing so.

Believe it or not, no KO here....Hearns by decision.

Everyone forgets that Hearns had tremendous boxing skills.

i agree, he would look to outbox the g-man, and would do so fairly easily, maybe even get a late kayo after wearing mcclellan down some

So true. People tend to forget what a great boxer the Hitman was and only remember him going to war with Hagler or destroying Duran.

There is a good chance that McClellan could catch Hearns
in the first 2 rounds and send him to sleep, but i think
that Hearns would survive an early crisis to secure a ko
win.Hearns ko in 7.
