View Full Version : Morning work out Vs Night workout

hey guys,

Just wondering i can only work out either in the morning befor breakfast or in the evning after dinner. I want to do two seperate workouts one of running and one of weights. Can some one tell which one (running or weights) is better to do in the morning on an empty stomach and which one is better to do in the evning after dinner??

not good to train after dinner. what about run in the morning, and do weights b4 dinner?
u would have 2 have 2 dinners if u trianed after 1st dinner.
becos u need 2 have food in ur stomach while u sleep so ur body repairs.

i run early in the morning (4:30 AM to 5:00 AM start time). Either the boxing gym or free weights/cardio in a regular gym later (about 6:00 PM or so).

running on an empty stomach also burns fat, so would make you mor cut, provided you dont eat loads of fat in the evening, not saying you do ust saying so.

i could try to get in both in the morning if you can... its the best time for it. it just really depends what you're doing it for and how big you are..

running always best to do in the morning before breakfast.

yeah running is best in the morning because thats when your metabolism is at its highest peak.
