I'm pretty sure a few pride and RINGS fights were fixed, marc coleman comes to mind he threw a fight, honestly I wouldn't be surprised if some fights were fixed in the ufc, in any combat sport there is going to be fixed fights

some say the ken shamrock vs rich franklin fight could have been fixed

No I don't. No matter who wins, the sport of MMA can be marketed. Which Pride and RINGS fights were fixed? Who did Mark Coleman throw a fight against?

Dana White is his equivalent.

You could say that. Although, I always considered Dana White more synonymous with Vince McMahon. Both guys have the biggest promotions in their businesses and pay all but a select few chump change compared to all the dough their companies rake in every year. Fedor wouldn't fight for the UFC because he wasn't offered enough and the UFC wanted too much control over his career apparently. I was just watching an interview on Youtube of Jim Harris, who played Kamala in the WWF for years and he mentioned how he made so much less than most of the other guys. Now, he might not have been a top guy, but he worked with all the top guys, was a big name in the '80s and harldy got paid anything, even for pay per views or for use of his likeness for action figures, which WWE still makes to this day. Didn't Tito Ortiz leave the UFC originally because of a contract dispute? Dana almost let Rampage go because he had to leave to film The A-Team movie, but smartened up and let him come back. I guess you gotta make sure to have a good agent or team representing you when dealing with these guys or else they'll screw you out of a lot of money.

Shamrock vs Oleg Taktarov....In the old UFC 'super fight'.

Ken was his training partner and manager when they fought.

Coleman vs Takada was a work...

And not even well done .... guess this is why Coleman never got into pro wrestling or acting.

Funny you should mention Coleman and pro wrestling. What was that Coleman fight that ended quickly and the ref and officials had to separate him from the opponent and he was throwing guys aside left and right? Was it the first time he fought Shogun in Pride where Shogun's wrist broke after being taken down? I always thought Mark looked like a heel wrestler there and in some other fights where he would get pissed off at officials and out of control in the heat of the match. I don't know, me might've made a good heel. Then again, most guys that were real wrestlers or real athletes haven't always done well in the wrestling business. Dr. Death Steve Williams, Ken Shamrock, Dan Severn, I think even Tank Abbott did a WWF stint. Then again, Iron Sheik was good, as well as Kurt Angle.
