Lloyd Honeyghan was in there in 1986. Chris Eubank was in there in 1994 and Nigel Benn was in there in 1995.

I don't know if Buchanan, Minter or McGuigan were in there, if they weren't it could of been because they were white  (j/k).

I think that Buchanan would have made it in. He had beaten Laguna twice and Navarro as well as only having 1 close loss at one point.

Hatton might get in there on the strength of his win over KT.

Possibly but I havent seen him in the top 10 on any lists since the fight.. I think hes right outside of it like 11 or 12 on most lists.

I have him in my top ten but that's just me. I think I have him like 8 or 9.

Hatton must be top 10 after Zoo, surely? If not, then maybe after he makes a few defences he will be.

he is hes number 7

I know Lewis and Hamed made the top 10 but seriously has any other Brit such as Benn or Eubank etc...

Honeyghan was in there in 86, Eubank was in there in 94 and Benn was in there in 95. I'm sure Hamed and Lewis were in there around 2000 but I was thrown in prison around that time, so I don't know.

It's interesting if Lewis was the only British fighter in the top 10 lb4lb in America, yet here in Britain he wasn't our best lb4lb.

What are you talking about?? Hes #2...

2 Lennox Lewis (17) 37, WBC and IBO world heavyweight champion

McKenzie: "He just doesn't do it for me. He's lost to run-of-the-mill guys, and now his legs have gone. His defence is not great and his jab's over-rated but he gets away with it because he hits hard."

Watt: "It is difficult to vote against the heavyweight champion of the world. But he's lost badly to two ordinary fighters in Oliver McCall and Hasim Rahman. You have to take the good with the bad and, much as I respect Lennox, there's too much of the chess player in his make-up. Even when he was punching holes in Tyson, he looked frightened to get in and stop him. He should have won in four or five rounds. He's not in the same league as Ali, Frazier, Holmes, or even a peak Tyson."

McKenzie: "He looked disinterested and lacked motivation against Vitali Klitschko, and Tyson and Holyfield were past it when he beat them. Now he's the best of a bad bunch."

Woodhall: "He's a great fighter, but he's peaked and has nothing left to prove. But he always rises to the challenge at the second attempt and, if he fights Klitschko again, I think he'll wipe the floor with him."

McCrory: "I've been beaten by him but he's not what he was and he'll be more vulnerable the longer he stays around. He still found a way to beat Klitschko, and you have to respect that, and I think he wins a rematch. He's on the slide, but he's still very strong."

Career record: W41 (KO32) L2 D1

What I mean is he wasn't Britain's #1 lb4lb yet he was the only British fighter in the world's top 10 lb4lb, which doesn't make sense.

If Hatton beats Mayweather he'd deserve mad props, I was just thinking. Tszyu and Mayweather, FFS Hatton would be one of the greatest ever, and coming from such a tiny country makes it even more impressive (if he beats Mayweather).

Its very hard for a non-american to get p4p ranked,Eubank deserves alot of credit for that, but he was unbeaten in 40odd fights so he did work for it lol.The only reason Benn was p4p ranked was because he beat McClennan who was rated by some journo's as p4p no.1!Id be interested to know if Baz McGuigan was p4p ranked after beating Pedroza?

I think Calzaghe should be on the P4P list, he'd murder Hopkins and he's considered the number 1. Hopefuly Calzaghe will land that fight, i'd hate to see another fighter duck for years and then retire without facing him like Ottke did.

I'm not really a big fan of Calzaghe but the boy is a born fighter, probably too dangerous for his own good, if i were him i'd temporary move to the US and chase down the names through the media.

what has Cal***gi done to deserve to be p4p ranked ??

He beat eubanks who was so far past his best it was ridiculous, eubanks woulda killed Cal***gi if eubanks was in his prime.

Cal***gi hasnt beat any1 else, Brewer and Mitchell were on the slide and Reid was robbed. and those guys arent all that good neway

just imagine Cal***gi agenst Gman ! Gman would destroy him ! or Cal***gi agenst RJ, man RJ would take him to school.

Eubank, Brewer, Sheika, Woodhall, Reid, Mitchell.. you can't argue with that resume.. Calzaghe beat them all and beat them well. It's not Joe's fault that Jones and Hopkins have always been too scared to fight him.
