I am starting training soon, and it's my first time so I have ALOT of questions. Everyone in the Training Section knows everything I have questions about so If you can help me out, thanks a lot, but if not, It's cool too. Like I said in my other thread, I'm starting training in a gym in about 3 weeks probably for amateur fighting. I want to get my body ready for training though, what should I do? I have a heavybag, weights, jump rope, everything but a speed bag. I just need to know what to do with it all  Plus, tommorow is my last day of eating whatever I want, I'm getting on a diet so I can drop a few pounds before I hit the gym. What should I do in that department?
-Thanks alot guys :boxing:

go for a run every day, eat less sugar ( it's bad for u anyway ) and do some plyometrics, by the time amateur boxing season starts again u'll be a lean, mean, fighting machine

...oh, i almost forgot, do some shadowboxing when u do the plyos, and probably some crunches too, to get the abs ready to take bodypunches
