I like that relaxing kind of music that makes you want to fall asleep, or that reminds you of the beach, or that kind of relaxing afterhours music. I like lo-fi, acid jazz, ambient, lo-fi hip-hop, samba, etc...

Any other fans? If so post your favorite songs and artists here.

People Under The Stairs - Sunroof & Montego Slay
Underworld - 8 Ball
The Kings of Convenience - Gold for the Price of Silver
Zero 7 - In the Waiting Line
Leona Naess - Lonely Boy

Stuff by Pete Rock, Moby, KoC, Camp Lo, Oakenfold, Bahamadia, Oscar Castro Neves, Sergio Mendez, random jazz, OM lounge, etc...

kingley IS that movie:

Don: I ****ed Jackie. Dirty cow. During what we were doing, she tried to stick her finger up my bum. I nearly hit the roof, you can imagine. I mean, what have you got to think of a woman who'd want to do that?

Don: " Hiding behind your wife's skirt... Your EX **** STAR WIFE'S SKIRT...dirty DeeDEE, she's ****ed hundreds ."

Sweet but I wonder what's with the beach pictures, lawl and why he named his song that.

That song to me does not make me feel sunny day.

You're instantly awesome in my book. PUTS is one of my favorite acts in any genre of music.

If you can't leave reality with that for a second then nothing is gonna help you. Double K and Thes One make some great music.

I dare someone to eat some mushrooms and watch all these videos.

Forget it, you'd probably either go crazy or exit the thread a mad scientist. One of the two, there is no disputing that.

Finally a good music thread! I'm a fan of that, not my favourite genre, more into 90s american underground guitar stuff and dubstep at the moment. But as for favourite albums and artists, here goes:

J Dilla - Donuts: This is some good hip-hop, lots of samples and stuff in it, and along the same lines...

Madlib - Beat Konducta Vol. 5-6: A Tribute to...: This is his tribute to J Dilla, but his other work is heavily jazz influenced hip-hop.

múm: Little experimental electronic band from Iceland. I always listen to these when I'm trying to get to sleep, it's very relaxing of so I find.

For some lo-fi check out Eric's Trip Forever Again album, it's sooo good. But as someone said, DJ Shadow, maybe some Brian Eno works. I always find post-rock relaxing, but maybe that's just me! I would think of more but I'm trying to revise for exams so ask or I might reply again with some more suggestions.
