View Full Version : thinking to get 12oz reyes for sparring splitnose 07-09-2010, 12:35 PM I weigh around 58kg. Should i get 12oz or 14oz ? shogunn 07-09-2010, 12:56 PM ouch, you dont like your sparring partners? get 16oz, and maybe a more sparring friendly type glove. Reyes gloves are known for being punchers gloves. The cushioning and material of the glove isnt friendly to your target. Youll probably hurt your sparring partner using 12oz, especially using reyes. putaloco 07-09-2010, 01:05 PM lol are you serious? who recommended this to you? 12oz is too small a glove for sparring at any weight. Righthandbanger 07-09-2010, 03:16 PM 12oz are too small and Reyes are bastard gloves to be hit with. fdotorres 07-09-2010, 03:21 PM I weigh around 58kg. Should i get 12oz or 14oz ? should get 16oz, ESPECIALLY if you wanna buy reyes Trick 07-09-2010, 05:28 PM You're going to be reallll popular hahaha. Del Coqui 07-09-2010, 07:25 PM Do the right thing and ask your coach, dont mind what anybody here tells you, then again, if he tells you to get 12 oz gloves for sparring find a new coach. kryo 07-09-2010, 08:54 PM Do the right thing and ask your coach, dont mind what anybody here tells you, then again, if he tells you to get 12 oz gloves for sparring find a new coach. exactly, don't mind this idiot. anyway, get 16oz ALWAYS for sparring and don't buy reyes, they're notoriously easy to cause cuts and they are hard as bricks. Bullrush 07-11-2010, 06:35 AM exactly, don't mind this idiot. anyway, get 16oz ALWAYS for sparring and don't buy reyes, they're notoriously easy to cause cuts and they are hard as bricks. what are you talking about the sparring gloves are similar to most other sparring gloves in terms of padding/density Skuzzles 07-12-2010, 07:35 PM If you don't want your sparring partners to hate you get the 16oz. |
