ok so ya...i ve been into boxing for the past year..and im 15 about 115llbs ive been working out by myself at my house for a long time.ive been doing pushups, sit ups, weights, jogging, sprinting, a few basketball workouts, speedbag, shadow boxing, heavy bag, and been doing some sparring alot with my friends. and now i wanna start going to a gym...i was thinking about wild card gym where freddie roach and manny pacquiao are. but i was wondering once i start going there and stuff..how does it work..when do i get an amateur fight and stuff? do they give me a fight or ya how does it work? please post if you know
Best thing would be to call them up. People are too scared to do that nowdays.
My guess is if there is a oppertunity for you to fight and they think you are ready, they will ask if you want it and if you do, they sign you up. That's how it works in Sweden, but Im pretty sure that's how it is in the states too.

dude, who says "Freiddie Roach" will take u in? hes a world champ trainer, and u expect 2 train a boxingscene member like us, hahahahhaha ya dreaming. dude, go 2 a normal gym, talk 2 trainer, do ya training, and ur trainer will decide if u any good enough 2 box. ur 2 still young bro, train hard and play hard.
I think he ment just the gym, not like roach would be his trainer, atleast i hope he didnt mean that.
But you should know that WCG takes $50 every MONTH. Not for everyone...

I know a few gyms that take 50 bucks a month, and I've definitely seen higher prices than that.
