Williams-Klitschko in trouble?
By Lisa ScottAccording to reports out of London, Danny Williams has threatened to pull out of this Saturday’s heavyweight title fight against WBC champ, Vitali Klitschko if the Nevada State Athletic Commission insists that the Brit shave his beard. Williams, a devout Muslim, told the Daily telegraph “If they ask me to shave or even trim my beard, there won’t be a fight.” The NSAC will inspect Williams’ beard today to see if he would gain any advantage or disadvantage during the bout. Athletic chairman Marc Ratner offered “If the beard is considered abrasive, then the fighter will be asked to cut it back.” The response from Team Klitschko? “As long as there’s not a horseshoe hidden up there, we don’t mind.”

Damn, they're onto him. I was thinking his best fight plan was to soften up VK's eyebrows with it then try to open up some cuts. :)

Danny Wlliams hasn`t expressed any inclination of a terrorist. Not to say that some muslims are ****ing pieces of **** terrorist, i just don`t think Williams is in that catagory!

It looks like this turned into a political thread, but I will try to veir it back on the right track by saying that first, Danny Williams will not pass up the $700k that he is going to get for showing up, second, the promoters are not going to let this fight fall through on the Wednesday before the fight because of facial hair, and third, there are about five guys I can think of right now that will take this fight on short notice.
