....Great for the fans, but those guys are crazy for fighting so soon after that brutal war they just had.

so true if they are gonna get it on the way the first fight was, but i really don't think it will be. corrales isn't gonna battle teh same way he did before. he knows that the mouthpiece isn't gonna save him this time.

Castillo is crazy, he is not a normal human being...
Im glad that they are both facing each other first...too me something would have been wrong if they were both fighting other guys...too many questions still unanswered after the first fight-thank god this one is happening again!
{BrownBomber} 07-07-2005, 01:37 PM Thankyou GOD!! God does answer prayers. :D
I hope Castillo wins this time.
This just made my day.

DiegoFuego 07-07-2005, 01:39 PM You can hope all you want, buddy, but if Corrales already fought Castillo's fight and KNOCKED HIM OUT. Imagine what happens when Corrales fights the way he was supposed to the first time around...Castillo is finished, bud.
`STEELHEAD 07-07-2005, 01:42 PM of all the fighters these guys should take a tuneup first.
corrales/goosen will try to win in an easier fashion second time around.
will castillo be able to bully corrales into fighting his fight again?
borikua 07-07-2005, 01:44 PM There's nothing sign yet....right?

Easier said than done buddy. You really think this gonna be any easier for Corrles. He fought his fight also its just that nobody wnats to stand and trade with Diego when they feel his power.
If anyone is gonna get worn out its corrales, castillo imo opinion is tougher than corr.did you read what diego said?
he has never felt pain like that in his life, things people shouldnt have to feel. Castillo was ready for revenge the NEXT DAY!! while diego couldnt even walk. We will see who is finished! :boxing:
Tha Greatest 07-07-2005, 01:47 PM Castillo by tko 9!
As much as I love my hometown hero, I got to go with Castillo...

no **** man!!! i read that too. i new that clown was in pain.

Ya he was, poor guy had to get over it first before he made a decision. If diego is human and I know he is, when he gets back in the ring again and Castillo starts his body attack its gonna be hell all over again. I hope no mouthpiece stalling will save him this time.
Let me say this, this fight is in no way in the bag for Castillo. It is gonna be a hard and even fight again. It could go either way still but ive always been a Castillo fan.
luisillo22 07-07-2005, 01:59 PM You know what brown bomber I agree with you, Castillo was ready and was asking for a direct rematch the next day while Corrales wanted an in between match before the Castillo rematch he even went ahead and got an apeal. That tells you that he was hurt and didnt want any of Castillo anymore.
DiegoFuego 07-07-2005, 02:03 PM If what Corrales did with the mouthpiece was so vital, then why didn't the same thing work for Freitas AGAINST Corrales?
Freitas spit his mouthpiece out three times against Corrales, and Corrales still finished him off.
Is it Corrales' fault if Castillo isn't good enough to finish him off? Hell no it isn't.
Corrales rules and he won within the rules. Stop crying, Mexicans. Oh wait, that's all you guys seem to know how to do as far as boxing is concerned. :D

Yup as much as I love JL Castillo I understand that this is a u pickem fight...I believe that Diego wants no part of hell one more time and Castillo just views it as another fight. I still have problems watching the first fight becouse of the ending.
For all of the mouthpiece talk let me say this...
If the second fight were to take place just like the first and Diego spits out his mouthpiece again whoever the referee is will give one harsh warning of stopping the fights and take away points and the second time around the fight will be halted...Diego will never be able to do that manuever again.
He wanted to quit in the first fight second time around if he pulls the same **** the ref will give him his wish!
DiegoFuego 07-07-2005, 02:07 PM Do you know how penalties work in boxing? First time you commit a foul, you get a warning. You can't be disqualified unless you do something at least 3 times.

Do you think the mouthpiece trick works every time Fuego, do you think it is magic?
Corrales did what he had to do when he finally had to face Castillo after the long break but Im sure you thought Freitas was trying to quit against Chico and if you think that then the same should be said for Chico trying to quit against JL...
When you repeatedly spit out your mouthpice when a ref is counting you are indirectly saying.."Mr referee Im not prepared to fight within your 10 second count" Well Fuego if your not prepared to fight then you should be counted out right?
Do you know how penalties work in boxing? First time you commit a foul, you get a warning. You can't be disqualified unless you do something at least 3 times.
So you are saying Diego can do the same thing next time and be ok?
I promise you if it all plays out like last time JL will be the winner by TKO. He will not be afforded the same opportunity he was last fight.

You don't know ****, so can you please stop talking?
To answer your question, Casttillo had Corrales FINISHED...but then Corrales did all that **** and got all the time to rest..
You have Diego in your username and you got him in your avatar, so you ain't nothin more than a nuthugger...
So shut the **** up please
luisillo22 07-07-2005, 02:12 PM You know what "diegofuego" F you, you need to admit that it was a premature stop and what diego did with the mouth piece was an act of cowardice and all he was trying to do was buy more time so that he could catch his breath cause Castillo laid it on him the entire fight.
Do you know how penalties work in boxing? First time you commit a foul, you get a warning. You can't be disqualified unless you do something at least 3 times.
Oh by the way the first time you commit a foul you get a warning....sorry that is not how it always works...you mean to tell me that you have never seen a ref take an immediate point away after a very bad low blow?

I love JL buit the stoppage was not premature, he was out. It just should not have come to that...if fighters can get 30-40 seconds for breaking rules when they are knocked down then why even have a ****ing ten count...why not make it 25 seconds maybe then guys like Freitas and Corrales wont need to spit their moutpiece because they will actually be ready to fight.
{BrownBomber} 07-07-2005, 02:18 PM Sorry fuego in your booty, it looks like not only Mexicans are sticking with the truth.
Tha Greatest 07-07-2005, 02:23 PM I ain't Mexican...
If I should be biased, I should be towards Corrales cuz his bro and his dad come to my gym, and Chicos from my city..
but it's the truth...

Damn I saw this fight three times already and i still dont see Castillo being out. But about the 25 second count down they that would be true there would be a need for a fighter to be dropping the mouthpiece.

sorry bro i live sleep and **** Castillo and I can tell the ref stopped it at the right time. When I saw the fight live I was yelling bloody murder, but when I saw the replay it was a diff. story. He was out and another heavy blow and who knows what would have happened.
Konstantin 07-07-2005, 02:35 PM LOL yall are giving Diego a hard time about the spitting of the mouthpeice but still havent commented on him not being able to knock him out after knocking him down two times. :p
luisillo22 07-07-2005, 02:37 PM Everyone is saying that he was out. Im going to watch it again tonight, but if everyone is saying that he was out then he was out, I guess we will have to wait and see what happens in the rematch. All I know is that Castillo is going to come with everything, in a way it my be his down fall but being Mexican that is what you do when it comes to fighting someone that you know beat you at one point.
DiegoFuego 07-07-2005, 02:42 PM So you are saying Diego can do the same thing next time and be ok?
I promise you if it all plays out like last time JL will be the winner by TKO. He will not be afforded the same opportunity he was last fight.
it's legal so yeah, why can't he do it?
DiegoFuego 07-07-2005, 02:43 PM Oh by the way the first time you commit a foul you get a warning....sorry that is not how it always works...you mean to tell me that you have never seen a ref take an immediate point away after a very bad low blow?
none come to mind. if Hatton didn't get a point taken away for his low blow, I don't think anyone could.
DiegoFuego 07-07-2005, 02:44 PM How do you all defend Castillo? He couldn't finish Corrales and got KO'ed by a guy who was as good as dead. So instead of bashing Corrales (THE GUY WHO WON THE FIGHT), bash Castillo for getting his head knocked off, LOL
{BrownBomber} 07-07-2005, 02:45 PM it's legal so yeah, why can't he do it?
it isnt a part of boxing man. It isnt legal but then again it isnt illegal but it is a ***** thing to do.
DiegoFuego 07-07-2005, 02:46 PM which one of the *****es got knocked out? HAHAHAHAHHAA
DiegoFuego 07-07-2005, 02:47 PM I liked Castillo until I met Mexican boxing fans. Y'all are ridiculous
jabsRstiff 07-07-2005, 02:48 PM In the week after the Corrales-Castillo war.....Castillo backers were making claims that Corrales was scared, because he wasn't interested in rematch talk....while Castillo was talking rematch.
Corrales was victorious, basking in victory, but also physically hurting from the fight. Castillo was hungry because he lost a fight he thought he had won.
This is why Corrales wasn't interested in the talk, while Castillo was....
Now, those who called Corrales a coward....admit you were wrong.
You should never question that dude's heart. He faces all comers, fights wars, & fights to the bitter end.
{BrownBomber} 07-07-2005, 02:51 PM I liked Castillo until I met Mexican boxing fans. Y'all are ridiculous
Really? I bet anything that had it been Castillo that pulled off the ***** **** and won the fight it would have been front page news all over the U.S
none come to mind. if Hatton didn't get a point taken away for his low blow, I don't think anyone could.
With your statement above it is very simple to tell that you are new to the sport, a ref can do whatever the **** he wants, take a point, not take a point, dq a guy count a fighter out...whatever the ref wants to do...
boxing rules are as skewed as any sport in the world...they arent rules Fuego they are more like guidelines.

It was obvious that Castillo was hungry after the shock defeat and that Chico was hurting/enjoying a fourth quarter miracle.
Now I have been consistent, i never called Chico a puss for not immediately agreeing to a rematch but I did say that if a year had gone by with Chico barking up Morales's tree and others that I would not need to see a rematch because I would know who the best 135 pounder was.
Fortunately I dont have to ***** and complain, the fight looks to be made and I cant wait.
DiegoFuego 07-07-2005, 05:12 PM If you don't know who the best 135 pounder is, go visit any rankings site anywhere. *********, ********boxing, espn, whatever you like. Here's a hint if you're too lazy to go check: it's not Castillo :D
Knicksman20 07-07-2005, 05:30 PM I went with Chico by KO in the 1st fight & still saying he's gonna KO him. Had Chico continued his good body-work like earlier in the fight,he might've chopped Castillo down earlier. Castillo's chin has finally been cracked & I think that's going to linger in his head more than him having Chico hurt in the 10th.
Floydmayweather 07-07-2005, 05:34 PM I see Chico going for an early Ko and getting caught. Corrales by 5th round ko.
-Nova- 07-07-2005, 05:35 PM Same here. The fight wouldn't last very long at all in my eyes.
PapiShasho 07-07-2005, 05:39 PM corrales isnt gonna fight the same way he did in the first fight.
same way he changed the way he fought the first time against casamayor, and the second time was much easier...
Memorex 07-07-2005, 05:46 PM corrales isnt gonna fight the same way he did in the first fight.
same way he changed the way he fought the first time against casamayor, and the second time was much easier...
thats exactly what i think too. corrales will be smarter the second time and outbox castillo. :boxing:

the way i read it corrales wanted to go up to bigger fights.not that he was ducking castillo.
i think its a crowd pleaseing but bad call for these guys to go at it again now.
both these guys should of been checked for brain hematomas after that last fight.
i dont see corrales being bullied into fighting castillos fight again. and than again corrales does get hit on the outside.but not as much.he can take castillos best.
Tha Greatest 07-08-2005, 03:44 AM What the **** is with this DiegoFuego newb...
His so ****ing annoying.

if corrales tries to box frmo the outside hes gonna get knocked down even earlier wiht left hooks..castillo by ko

if corrales didnt spit out his mouthpiece do you feel that he would have won? did those extra seconds matter? yes they did...diego still won with a smart move but if ur saying the moutpiece didnt save him..i dont know if u know anything about boxing.. the mouthpiece clearly saved him
jabsRstiff 07-08-2005, 07:42 AM I see Chico going for an early Ko and getting caught. Corrales by 5th round ko.
So...you're saying Corrales will knock himself out with one of his own punches ?
