Q: Fedor, how did they meet you in Russia ?

A: Close friends and some young guys form some fan club came to congratulate me on return from USA. I could not communicate with them, but we made pictures and that is it.

Q: Fedor, what happened in your fight that it ended like that ? Did you have any injuries ?

A: Thank God, I have no injuries. As for the fight, when Fabricio when into a knock-down, I hurried too much to hit him more. In this step, I fell into the choke. In other fights, I think I'd have done the same, but in this one, I was not precise and fell into the choke.

Q: There is talk about rematch. What are the chances of that ?

A: I would very much like to meet Fabricio again and as he said he is also open to that. - Russia, USA or Brazil, it doesn't matter. But our wish is one thing, and managers is another thing. But as far as I know, Vadim already arranged all conditions for the future fight with Werdum.

Q: So, the chance this happens is great ?

A: Yes, I really want to meet Fabricio again.

Q: Will this fight be in the current contract with Strikeforce and M-1

A: Yes, after that managers will talk more.

Q: What are your future plans ?

A: I want to go home and meet my daughter most of all. May be we go to a holiday after that somewhere. On July 3rd, I will attend a Judo tournament in Moscow and on July 14, in the M-1 fights in Sochi., and July 22, the fights in Moscow. In August, I want to start preparing for a new fight.

Q: Will a fight occur this year?

A: I am not ready to answer that.

Q: Will your preparation for your next fight be different ?

A: I think not, but I will be more careful in the fight from now on.

Q: What do the coaches say ?

A: Everyone understands what happened. Fabricio got my arm, and I made a mistake and went to hit more. May be, my head did not work at 100%, may be I was counting on myself too much, may be I wanted to win as fast as possible, and from there, I made mistakes. Earlier in my career, I think I was more practical. For instance, when I fought Noguiera, I did not even allow the moment from which such situation could be created.

I predict Werdum-Fedor II on the order of Fedor-Kosaka II.

Fedor underestimated Fab's skills a bit. He escaped Fab's first attempt at an arm bar. He's right, he was in a hurry to KO Fab on the ground. It was a legit loss for sure. Good post.

Here is my thinking.

Werdum beat Fedor

Nogueira beat Werdum

Cain Velasquez beat Nogueira

So Cain Velasquez is obviously number 1 lb for lb heavyweight.

Werdum beat Fedor

Nogueira beat Werdum

Cain Velasquez beat Nogueira

So Cain Velasquez is obviously number 1 lb for lb heavyweight.

Cain beat Nog once;
Fedor beat Nog twice.

THEREFORE

2>1 = FEDOR > CAIN

Triangular logic doesn't work in fighting.

fedor may have lost to a triangle choke.... but it won't work with a triangular theory
