Ben_London 06-29-2010, 05:37 PM Depends where you live really in terms of danger, I tend to go running around 10pm. In terms of what it does fitness wise, I wouldnīt say itīs any different. GAME2010 06-29-2010, 06:03 PM nah isnt a problem unless u get jumped i run around that time cos its too hot during the day gatagata 06-29-2010, 06:36 PM Yea I gotta be careful getting to the tracks. STILL_DETOX 06-29-2010, 06:37 PM running at night is awesome, i do it all the time. usually no1 bothers u. depends where u run tho mushahadeen 06-29-2010, 09:10 PM It's only a bad idea if there are disreputable types around. I run at 4am. It sucks. SirTomJones 06-29-2010, 09:28 PM I'd rather run at 6am. less weird people about. shogunn 06-29-2010, 10:52 PM its a bad idea if you have to wake up early in the morning Chip2006uk 06-29-2010, 11:30 PM Now that its summer Ive started running at around 11pm since its cooler and darker and theres less people about LVfrank 06-29-2010, 11:49 PM I use to run at night, but got annoyed by punks yelling hateful crap out of their car windows. Now I just go in the morning time. discodave 06-30-2010, 07:13 AM The latest I go out running is around 9.30pm. Earliest I have hit the roads is 7am. Must admit, I definitely prefer running at night - although doing it in the morning is also good as it means it is out the way. Mannie Phresh 06-30-2010, 07:15 AM 5:15am for me midnight on the weekends #1Assassin 06-30-2010, 07:20 AM i was running almost at midnight just yesterday, came home at 11.30pm. the only problem is if it messes up your sleep. gatagata 06-30-2010, 10:43 AM Well I don't fall asleep till 3 am and I don't have school now so it's no problem. CarlosG815 06-30-2010, 10:53 AM If you feel more comfortable running at night then that's what you should do. Everybody's different, we're not on the same biological clock. I feel drained and tired for most of the day, but once 8 or 9 rolls around I'm wide awake and feel the urge to workout, do my runs, etc.. and I have gone for many late night runs, because that's when my body feels the most energized. Just because society has deemed the night to be a time to sleep or be in front of a tv doesn't mean your body feels the same way. Running at night is great, go for it. Tim Horton 06-30-2010, 03:44 PM I think your best bet is to run at night if not in the morning. The air is a lot fresher without rush hour traffic running through it at the same time that you are. Frighteous 06-30-2010, 04:57 PM One time this guy threw a full beer at me while I was running around 5:00 PM with my hoody on...Unluckily for him I recognized exactly who he was and as soon as I finished my run, drove over to his house, he opened the door and with no dialogue I body shotted him.(Lead left hook liver) I, personally, liked how I handled it. My girlfriend dumped me and told me I was psychotic, but that ***** was probably a lesbian anyway. this was like six years ago, I'd have never done that today for fear of going to jail... iceman1 06-30-2010, 06:14 PM 5am is when i go running DR.ORGYY 06-30-2010, 06:20 PM No y would it be? GAME2010 06-30-2010, 06:47 PM you can go running whenever u want gatagata 06-30-2010, 07:14 PM Just came back from running its 1:10 am. I went to the tracks but the doors were locked so I just started running through the streets and alleys. I met some drunks and stuff but it was pretty good. But I need to find some place where I could run. Does running on concrete damage your knees? Uturn 06-30-2010, 07:53 PM 5:15am for me midnight on the weekends Wow nice work. That takes some dedication to get up so early and run! Just came back from running its 1:10 am. I went to the tracks but the doors were locked so I just started running through the streets and alleys. I met some drunks and stuff but it was pretty good. But I need to find some place where I could run. Does running on concrete damage your knees? Lol well i guess running at night your always going to approach some people hanging around. I guess running on concrete isn't easy on your joints and knees, it's defiantly better to run on soft surfaces. However, having a good pair of running shoes can make all the difference and provide less strain on your joints. Equilibrium 06-30-2010, 10:27 PM I always run at night. Went at 11:30 pm last night, cop cars pull up to me and ask me what i'm doing once in a while but aside from that i never had a problem. Third Degree MM 06-30-2010, 10:59 PM i run at 4:45 pm after i take a few hits Trick 06-30-2010, 11:29 PM Personally I much prefer running at night... In my neighborhood that'd be too dangerous. (I always got a shank on me if I do HAVE to run at night) I run at around 8-9am. That's when the goons ain't out to rob your ass. But if your neighborhoods safe then why not? If I lived in a better neighborhood I would definitely run at around midnight. discodave 07-01-2010, 07:16 AM I'm planning on going for a 3 mile run after boxing training tonight. I'll do a 3 mile run tonight, then another tomorrow night. Saturday and Sunday I will be having a few beers and eating what I want. Check_hooks 07-03-2010, 02:30 AM If you ever watch a mayweather 24/7 he runs early in the morning. However it might be because everyone knows him in Vegas and he just wants to get a workout in without getting bothered |
