BoxingScene caught up with WBC junior welterweight champion Arturo Gatti to throw a few questions regarding his upcoming fight with Jesse James Leija and future opponents Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Kostya Tszyu.

There has been some criticism towards Gatti for facing Leija in his next fight. The general feeling among the Boxing public is that Gatti should be facing one of the other top fighters in the division like Mayweather or Tszyu.

Who actually has made an official attempt at getting a fight with him??

Kosta and Arturo being exclusive to rival networks is bull****! I mean its legit but I don't think it should be allowed to happen. The demand to see two fighters fight each other and regulatory bodies should dictate who fights, not "exclusive contracts". Its like the fact that don king has Ruiz and Byrd and I doubt he'll (anytime soon) put either up against Klitchko because he'd being loosing one of his cash cows. Therefore, promoters and networks are dictating what fights the public sees like puppetmasters and it just sucks!! :mad:
