#4 Used-Up Skanks
BRITNEY SPEARS
I love Britney Spears. I wanna kiss her. I think about her all the time like she's my girlfriend and at night i always kiss my pillow pretending its her. I'm her #1 fan.
Well, actually, that's another guy, but if the guy who writes that was say, a teenager, and this was 2003 or before, some of us might have been able to identify. After all, Ms. Spears came out with the "Baby one more time" video and we all took off to the Internet to see how long before she turned 18.
Part of her appeal was that she was pure, virginal. We knew she was because she told MTV she was. Her songs were clean, too. Then she got sluttier and sluttier. Her post-Justin Timberlake bedhopping was ridiculous. She told a UK interviewer that the last thing she had in her mouth was a dildo during a silly interview.
Her film career died immediately with the horrendous "Crossroads." She put out the song "Boys" with the classic lyrics: Boys - sometimes a girl just needs one. Brilliant.
Everything she's released since then sounds like deleted B-sides from the Rhythm Nation 1814 disc. She has even stooped to covering Bobby Brown songs and calling them "Hits."
She's been linked to all kinds of men from John Cusack to Jared Leto to Colin Farrell to Fred Durst to that other dancer she had before the new dancer to Sweet Dick Willy and tonytucker.
She's been married this year. Twice.
It's almost unthinkable to think the girl from the "Stronger" video would be a nasty skank by 2004. But things happen. She got larger; her clothes didn't. She quit trying to portray herself as virginal; now apparently she's going for unwashed slut. She quit using Noxzema apparently as well.
Now she's married to Keven Federline, a greasy guy who already has a toddler and an infant with another single woman. Classy dude. Oh well, at least he'll pay able to pay child support with his alimony money when he & Britney split up, which probably will be sooner than later.
CAREER HIGHLIGHTS: Selling out tours, going platinum a gazillion times, being in every glamour, women's, teen, celebrity, and music magazine under the sun, etc., etc. etc.
CAREER LOWLIGHTS: Having to use a snake and a Madonna kiss to maintain fan interest; her last couple albums; her movie; all the new pictures of her; her first marriage; maybe this marriage
