I would welcome a little break personally only for that fact that I still have PSX and PS2 games I haven't beaten yet lol. It would help me catch up.

Seriously though If this happened now it would kill me.

I think it would benefit us Gamers if this happened right now. When the 1983 game crash happened video games where like 5 dollars each when retail was 30$. Right now video games cost $59.99 and if it happens now video games at that price would be like $30 and old games would be like $10 lol.

Ah yes..."ET the Game" and Atari ****ed up the entire gaming industry of 1983.
