I have to say Marco Antonio Barrera looked pretty impressive last week. Now we might see a possible rematch between him and Pacman. What do you think, do you think Barrera showed some improvements that can enable him to beat the Pacman. Cast your votes, I want to see what the boxing scene public thinks.

I don't think it will be any different. Marco will definitely have another bad night.

If Barrera boxes with the same passion, commitment and belief as he did against Morrales then he'll win, no questions....Barrara is the more talented fighter, Pac has the tempo and the power. I have to say though I'm not sure that Barrera will be able to get himself up for the fight with Pac as he has with Morrales becuase there isn't that hatered driving him on from within.... Barrera has achieved all that he wants now, so although I believe he's a better fighter than pac - I have Pac to win.

Without a doubt, MAB is smarter than Pac. But if MAB and Pac go at it like the MAB-Morales fights, MAB won't survive like he did with Morales. And Pac is ready to go to war. I say deja vu.

And kadyo, are you referring to ObL (sig)?

i think barrera will win by decision if they fight again.

the reason pac won the first fight was that he set a faster pace than marco had got used to fighting at. look at mab's last couple before pac, the pace was pretty slow. even against morales last week the pace of the fight was'nt nearly as quick as pac will set. unless marco can fight with the same energy as pac he will lose again.

i agree. pac man sets a pace that is way too fast for most any fighter. i don't think mab had the power to ko pac. thats what it is going to take to beat him. pac can and will 12 rounds non stop if need be. mab not even half that if he gets caught early. mab has the smarts and the skill, pac has speed power and agression. mab has a slim chance of catching him in the perfect spot but thats really about it. i am truely a mab fan and mab is truely the more skilled than the two but pac man has the physicalities to overcome mab once again.

Manny Pacquiao will knock MAB out no matter who MAB defeats. Styles make fights and of course age does too. If MAB boxes Manny Pacquiao he might just last eight to ten rounds. I have it manny by 6 round KO.

Pac is a bad matchup for MAB. Southpaw, fast, & powerful. Jr. Jones gave MAB hell & he's not as talented as Pac. Pac ko'sMAB no matter how motivated he is for this fight. He can't keep up with Pac & he needs to rest & take a few rounds off in fights. (as he did with Morales III) Pac won't give him time to take rounds off like that.

It will be the same as the first fight. Pacquiao by KO.

MAB fought Morales the way he did because Morales has enough power to stun MAB, but not really hurt him. Pac man has enough power to hurt him, and once he gets tagged, he goes defensive for the most part, which greatly diminishes his chances of slowing Pac man down, kind of like what Joppy did against Taylor.

even if mab showed tremendous heart against morales, i don't think he can do it against a younger pacquiao, who incidentally has gotten much even more confident facing barrera the second time because of the former knocking him out the first time. same result. every fighter has his waterloo and barrera has it in pacquiao!

from your anaylsis mab doesnt really have a chance to beat pac . . .

so the only option left for mab is to set up another fire on his training camp . . have another surgery on the other side of his head . . fight pac . . . and when he lose . . . tell to the world . . . its not MAB who fought PAC . .

Marco hasn't really changed his style from the last three fights.
But he has performed a lot better against Ayala and Morales because their styles suit Barrera. One thing I would fix with Barrera if I were his trainer is his jab. The reason he hits his jab like a heavyweight is because he pushes it out straight to the center; it leaves him open for a straight left (only works against orthodox fighters and slower southpaws). Manny took advantage of this because (1) his speed allows him to avoid it and (2) when Marco misses, Manny can counter with his quick (and heavy) left cross. Barrera needs to get back quickly on defense if his jab misses; that of course would mean sacrificing the power from his jab.

i for one think amb will have his head claer and move more..i think he can do it also...maybe not ko manny unless he breaks him down..but i think mab has a great chance at beating manny...i think mann wont get threw JMM also..jmm schooled him

Manny has learned a lot from the last JMM fight. And after MAB's performance against Morales I'm sure he will need to be more prepared the 2nd time they meet.

yes he doesn't stand a chance and i bet his handlers won't take that risk either.

Interesting poll results so far. I like both the popular choices so far, because they both make good sense ....

1. Pac will connect and KO.
2. Barrera will stay in there and out-box.

I choose Barrera in a decision, but can see a stoppage if the "old" Barrera shows-up for Pac.

I think it will be much like the first fight, but I don't think Barrera will make it out of the first 3 rounds. Pacman is just too fast and strong for him and Barrera is open to that straight left of Pacquaio's all night...

Pacman by 8th round TKO...Pacman has also been working on a right cross in anticipation of his Februaury rematch with JMM...then Morales in July!!
