do your push ups with your hands wide spread and do them slowly this should help you build that chest up

You need to go to a gym with some heavier weights. Regular pushups won't make you grow, unless you're REALLY small.
One arm pushups and handstand pushups would be better, but they're kinda hard for some people...

Well regular pushups made me grow and i wasnt exactly small before. Come on "expert", you train "national champions" and your not even aware of that.

Do regular pushups then variations on those like with a clap, and with more reps and stuff. Basic is better, so keep to the old school. Lifting your own weight is always better than lifting weights in the gym or whatever, so keep to that i say.

Not very well im guessing, cos everything you post on the training and nutrition forum is wrong to be honest. I bet all your boys are skinny little ****s who lose, well they would be if they took any of your advice anyway.

If he trains national champions...technically they don't lose.

Agreed. Also do bench presses with barbells or straight bar. That can help, too. But don't do it with light weights.

I use heavy reps and sets with weights and it works fine for me. I get stronger but dosent slow me down.

wide arm grip on bench press. find a weight thats heavy but not heaviest for u. For example, if ya max. is 100, try 70 or 80kg. and try do as many reps as possible. u gotta do pushups aswell, as a warm-up and warm down.

Just do push ups. Lots and lots of pushups. Do them as suggested with different hand placement, and do a boat load of them with your feet up on a chair so you are elevated down (elevated down, does that make sense). Anyway you get the drift.

Pushups help. They make you stronger and build a bigger chest area but not the actual "chest" muscles.

Weights are the only way to build the "chest muscle"
Pushups help but build more to bigger back.

I wont have a go at you, cos ur normally alrite, but if you wanna get technical then your still wrong.

Someone can still be a national champ and lose a boxing match. Like you could have won a belt in January and then lose in February but not a fight in which your belt is on the line for. Much like a "friendly" or something like that.

Whatever though i just thought id inform you of that.
