Thanks guys. I've tried posting at other places, but the people were really mean to me. I'm openly gay, and some people have a problem with me being a boxing fan. Glad to see there are some civilized people at a boxing forum. :dance:

This place is for boxing talk... So rather than discussing your personal life, why not just stick to boxing?

it was a joke, because a lot of people were critizing his weight when he entered his training camp ( he always puts on a few pounds :D in between fights).

the first thing i thought was that mabye someone in the crowd made it as a joke and gave it to his corner or something, and they just did'nt notice what it really said. :confused: yeah, ive seen pic's of him in between fights, he balloon's up quite nicely.

He did do it on purpose, one of his corner-men gave it to him, he was that confident he was going to win. Yeah I was a little suprised to see him take the mick out of himself too, but good on him.

Maybe you guys are right. I'm sorry if I've offended anybody. I just want to be able to relate to everybody here. If I didn't come out and say it first, I was afraid that somewhere down the line when we become closer, I won't be able to hide my sexual preference. Then you guys won't be my friend because you will have felt betrayed by my silence. It happens to me all the time in my regular life. I'll become friends with a guy, and if they find out I'm gay then they get mad at me and don't want to be my friend anymore. When I ask why they don't want to be friends then they say it's because I lied to them. I just don't want to get close to some of you guys then have this thrown back in my face.

I didn't join to look for dates, if it happens then so be it. I'm really interested in boxing but know little about the sport. So I read the threads in the boxing forum too. I just don't post there yet because my knowledge is limited.

I'm 6'5 and I intimidate most of the men I meet, even the gay ones. Believe me I would love to be straight, but I have to live with this curse, while you make fun of me. It's not fun you know.
