I dont buy Floyds comment that he trashed talked Gatti to the extreme he did to SELL tickets! Come on, Gatti sells tickets, especially in A.C. so there was nothing for Floyd to worry about when it came to ticket sales. Maybe he did feel bad for saying all that he had said, but the other is just an excuse.

I wouldn't be surprised if some of those Gatti fans who were at the arena that night, who are semi-fans (the ones who watch Trinidad, De La Hoya, Tyson, etc.) would ask about the next time he's fighting again. Very memorable performance.

The action is just warming up and the future looks bright in this division as long as everyone keeps fighting each other.

I'm sure there were alot of people who weren't planning on buying the PPV, but after they seen the heated interview with Gatti/Mayweather on the Johnson/Tarver telecast, it made them want to watch the fight more/

I'd say with the fan base that Gatti has the ppvs would have sold just fine regardless of Floyds trashtalking. I honestly think that Floyd felt threatened by Gattis fan base, because it is very extensive. I cant in the least blame him for that, not at all. Maybe Floyd's fan base has increased after putting up a perfect and exciting showing. He used to always bore me, but that night he was on fire!

I think Floyd is the best fighter of the last 20 years and has a shot to be the greatest of all time if he can keep going. Nobody can deny him anymore.

I actually agree with you on many of those pts. but you cant blame gatti. Hes never dodged anybody...has plenty of heart and guts and made a killign in that fight. Thats just more money in the bank, and if he had NOT fought Floyd, all the haters would just claim he was scared of him. Cant have that! :confused:

its a myth hatton only fight at the MEN, thats a recent thing due to it being the largest avalable arena. Hatton actually doesnt come from manchester itself. He lives in Hyde outside M i believe.

in total he has fought ten times at the MEN which is about a quarter of his fights, why does that make him a disgrace?

well i feel i do, cos i find the constant name changing very childish and irritating then do it myself but for correct reasons.
