Be careful with stawberry of any kind, if it's real strawberry.

I don't know about the sugar thing, but it's a moderate laxative and, even if it doesn't give you the ****s, it will interfere with water absorption.

If you don't mind can you be more specific with "intense"? Not to sound too arrogant but everybody has different standards of "intensity". The intensity that may or may not be enough to burn your sugars.

well let me give you an example yesterday started with a 45 min cycleing

45 min cycleing
100 pull ups
200 push ups
6 rounds on the punching bag. 4 min a round
25 min speed bag
25 min on the mits
100 push up again
A little bit of weights bench press, military press, bicep curl
stretch
than a 3 mile run in the park

I think this is pretty intence

How much do you weigh? That's a pretty intense workout, do you actually do all of that in one day in one workout? IS that why you go and get that drink, so that it gives you a quick burst of energy to get you started?

Id stay away and you are not burning it off and sugar converts to fat anyways.

Make a smoothie or something else.

That's 2 hours and 5 minutes + 100 pull ups, 300 push ups weight training and a 3 mile run? Sorry buddy, that's pretty much 3 workouts, right there. I find it VERY hard to believe that is your actual workout. It'll take you like 4 hours to do all that.

Oh, and that's not gonna be an intense work out. NO ONE can keep up the intensity for 4 hours, even if they try to do that workout. And you're actually claiming that you start lifting weights over 2 HOURS into an INTENSE training session??? You're insane if you DO that, and you're insane if you think anyone's gonna believe you do that.

I usually have some whole grain foods. I workout in the morning so I always eat breakfast before hand, especially since I am no longer in a cutting phase. I will try to have some whole wheat bread (sara lee 45 calories a slice is the best) which is 100% whole grains and some egg whites along with a small glass of OJ or water. After my workout I have my protein shake.

Smoothies can be great if you make them yourself and make sure they are not packed with a bunch of unwanted calories/fat/carbs.

If I am in a hurry I will blend a smoothie or eat a couple of pieces of toast with some peanut butter and sprinkle some whey protein on it. With the PB being melted with the chocolate it is delicious.

I'm just giving you a dose of reality, here... Even if you do that "workout", it's no good. Weightlifting after more than 2 hours of training will do NOTHING but **** you up, no matter who you are.

Also, didn't you post that pic, and then later admit that it wasn't really you in another thread somewhere? :D Reality bites :p

Agreed. 4 hours straight, if that is the case, is a long time for training in one day. You better hope as hell that you don't suffer from burnout.

He was calling out Boxer2k5 and said he was undefeated or something like that and Rockin1 called him out and wanted his Amateur ID number and he came clean about his record.

But it's all good in my book.

Hey, if he wants to live in fantasy land, I've got no problem with that. It just gives the people who read it and actually believe it, a distorted picture of what training is all about. That's the opposite of what this forum is supposed to be about.

We'd get a better forum if people were honest about this kind of stuff.

I am going to pretend that Trigger is telling the truth. Maybe is is after all. I doubt it. But maybe I am wrong. Well, even though he does love boxing so much and can stay on this super rigorous training method, I am very sure that this much training is counterproductive. You probably are seeing gains at first but then your body breaks down and these workouts are hurting you.

I tried doing something crazy like this (not this crazy though) when I was in love with boxing when I first joined the gym. I got in shape REAL fast and then I declined REAL fast. This lasted 4 weeks for me before I got smarter.
