35 wins with 34 knockouts is impressive, can he really hit as hard as the statistic tells us?

Yes, Riddick Bowe said that Hide hit harder than anyone else he fought.

It's a smart move on Hide's part - the extension of cruiser to 200 is made for him. He could have frightening power at cruiser and his chin might be better suited to the division below as well. I'd love to see Hide in with Haye - it'd be great while it lasted

so that explains it. riddick bowe was holding down herbie hide while connecting with sledgehammers. i think the referee didn't even warn bowe for hitting while holding.

I met Hyde once and the bloke ain't got two braincells to rub together or he was punch drunk already and this was 10 years ago...

I was with a mate who had a Public Enemy T-Shirt on

Herbie Hyde "Does that say Reebok?"

"Um... No, it says Public Enemy."

The guy is an idiot. He made a million pounds after wining the world belt. I think he has lost it all now. He has past his best.

if he does i hope he gets sparked he is a nasty peice of work.
