I mean boxers should be able to throw powerful shots in the first round without being exhausted unless your name was mike tyson. Do you think all the pressure put a strain on his body? I heard the more tense you are the faster you get tired becuase it takes up alot of your energy

You could tell he was so tight he looked as if he was about to implode. That actually tired him out moreso than his over-aggressive start.

He was so worked up by the second round I thought he was going to start hyperventilating.

It was all mental not physical. He talked SO MUCH **** and put so much pressure on himself. He deserved it though, the guy was a first class prick.

I'd say nerves and probably lack of training. He was obviously looking past his opponent, so it wouldn't surprise me if he didn't train or prepare himself properly.

I'd say more along the lines of overtraining. There's no way he was not going to train for this moment.

I think Manny Steward the most embarrised person there that night.

Could be true. I just think the way he was fighting that he thought he'd knock the guy out in the first round, to make himself look really good on the big-time ppv card. Obviously it wasn't that easy for him, and he didn't seem to have much of a backup plan. But, I suppose that has nothing to do with training and more to do with mental preparation.

Manny should be embarrassed, he's a horrible trainer and an even worse manager, he's basically the Lou Pinella of boxing, he can talk the game but he can't deliver the goods

Harris is garbage. All he's got is height an reach, which were neutralized by Mausa's height and reach. Harris skills, power, and stamina are overrated. Harris is slow as **** and he telegraphs that right hand. Harris embarrassed himself.

He was a ****in joke last night last night wasnt he. I have been hearing about this guy for a while now. I think the problem was that he wasnt necessarily tense because of who he was fighting but because this was his opportunity to showcase his talents. All he did was throw the shots that would get him noticed by the boxing fans.

The stupidest thing that he did was not listen to Emmanual Steward. EM told him to calm down and throw the short left. What does Harris do, He throws the right. Then he argues with steward about sitting down. Why in the hell would he do that.

But the thing that topped it all off was the fact that he threw that fight. I have seen guys at 135 take the shot that he took. Then after he acted like he couldnt get up. They asked him why the shot knocked him out, and his answer was that it wasnt the left on the chin but rather the punch that was thrown at him when he was on the ground.

Now yes, he was hit while he was down. But that shot barely even touched him. He said "Yeah that late shot knocked my equilibriem off and made it where i couldnt get up." BULL****!
He couldnt get up because he knew nothing he was gonna do was gonna give him the win. He expended all his energy in one round. And like you said only tyson does that.
To me this fight was like Tyson V Mcbride in the aspect that the heavy puncher took on someone he should easily beat. After the first rounds of each fight you already knew the punchers were done. Both of the Punchers laid on the ground from **** that shouldnt have put them there (Tyson by lean and harris by puss punch)
So in my book, Harris needs to quit boxing if he cant win that level of compitition. What he did last night discraced himself and the sport of boxing.
