The chick pick battles from me are on hiatus; it seems they lost their appeal in the midst of the Karma wars, factions, etc. There are still some chick pick-inspired posts to go around, so check them out if you need your fix.
In the meantime, I have decided to start a new series.
The new series will focus on female celebrities who have experienced massive success in the entertainment industy. These women have all been regarded as beautiful and desirable, however, some situation(s) has/have occurred that have changed the girl’s image, including drug and alcohol abuse, much partying, promiscuity, eating disorders, etc.
These posts are not designed to poke fun at the plight of rich women who girls envied and men lusted over, who have lost a beat or two. Nor is it for men to gloat over a woman who never would have looked at them at an earlier time and place’s migration down the desirability scale.
The threads are designed as a warning to the dangers of fast living. The threads are also to discourage some of the vices that led to the ladies’ downfalls, and to help us all question issues like drugs, alcohol, vanity, values, and popularity.
Further, a poll will be attached to each post. In an effort to reinforce the dangers of living life in the fast lane and to address some of the themes in discussions that these posts, including pictures, might inspire, the poll will ask “Would you hit it?” and give “Then” and “Now” selections.
One can choose one option, no option, or both options. The poll will not be public to protect the less discriminating posters.
By the way, “Would you hit it?” is a slang expression for “Would you engage in consensual intercourse with this lovely lady” rather than “Would you hit this woman who now resembles a wild animal with a large blunt object in the fear that she might be a carnivorous beast, or at least a rabid dog”.
So, without further ado, I unveil a new line of posts. I would appreciate a week or so before the copycat threads emerge.
When looking through the Lounge, look specifically for my social study of the above themes in the new posts,
Used-Up Skanks.
Thank you for your attention.
