Never heard of either guy. But be wary of someone selling a career set for $30. I'd question the quaility on that one. angelo_dundee 06-25-2005, 07:50 PM www.amazon.com must be the best. We get em, burn em, send the same day. Often times they get the movies via mail the next day and they send the next batch and it's recieved that day after. We are gonna have an out of control library in like 3 months. My wife gets burnable DVD's for less than 50 cents a piece. I'd question the quaility on that one. I think I might buy it, if it sucks I doubt it'd be that much, quailty would only be down afew pixels, if anything, nothing much, good idea? Only 30 bucks for Trinidads career, so later I could re-sale customized. Carlos Ortiz fights are locked down, they emailed me saying his fights arent for sale (WTF?), I cant find his fights (I found some, but not his triology w/Ismael Laguna ). I have over 580 movies, around 20-30 TV series (or at least 20-30 seasons) and growing. I just cancelled Netflix b/c Blockbuster offered a deal I couldn't refuse. If you cancel Netflix and join Blockbuster, you can forward the Cancellation email to Blockbuster and they'll give you two free months of Blockbuster service, plus a free DVD, plus 2 free in-store rentals each month. I couldn't turn that down. I like Netflix A LOT better, but Blockbuster is cheaper and 2 free months, you just can't say no to that. I'm on the 5 at a time plan now, soon to go back to the 8 at a time plan. Oh, also the library has DVDs, surprisingly a good bit of decent TV series episodes, so I'm collecting library cards and about to start hitting up the library for free rentals too. I just got King of the Hill Season 1, Mash Season 2, and the Simpsons Season 2 from the library. spinksjinx 06-26-2005, 01:24 PM http://www.deepdiscountdvd.com enter the code: DVDTALK or TALKDVD to receive an additional 20% off. Sorry to be so negative, just my nature to be wary about stuff like that. Been burned too many times by ****ty fights. I got 150 fifty bucks, careers/fights I want to buy first are Benitez/Ortiz/Gomez/Trinidad/Cotto, between the expenses to go to school soon, buying a 500 dollar DVD burner, and child support I just want to buy some fights at a good price, but it all seems so confusing, WTF man, I want one of these careers for 30 bucks, but are they real? How good are they? just asking. I dont want to get riped off, if its so/so good I'll be fine with it. :D IwatchBoxing 06-26-2005, 04:32 PM I'm going to order Trinidad, Benitez, Gomez, Cotto careers on Ebay, good choice? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=41579&item=6408948322&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW Like that one. The Carlos Ortiz, I just buy one by one from sites as I find them. after I get a DVd burner I can customize my own DVDs w/menus. RoyFlapsHisLips 06-26-2005, 04:46 PM That is a Brit auction. Just make sure to ask them if the dvd's are region-free. masterdirector 06-26-2005, 09:24 PM Don't fall for that region free bull****. Just get a region free DVD player to be safe. Or actually you should be good as long as the DVD player plays both PAL and NTSC. You can get a good cheap DVD player that does this put out by a company called Cyberhome. They sell them for around $38 at my local Wal-mart. It beats the hell out of my friend's $150 Sony and my mom's $130 Toshiba, not to mention my grandmother's $99 Phillips (I think its Phillips). Let's put it this way, for a fraction of the price, my cheap ass CyberHome DVD player has played literally every DVD disc I've put on it. There have been at least three different format discs that wouldn't play on those others at all. One was a PAL format series disc and two others were discs made on the computer from computer files, long story. The Slim PS2 plays almost everything too it seems, although the non-slim PS2s don't. IwatchBoxing 06-26-2005, 09:29 PM I ordered 31 fights of Trinidad, and 5 fights of Benitez for both 25 $'s ea., if it goes well by the end of the week I will order Gomez/Cotto careers from Ebay. I plan on making custom DVDs of PR fightsn once I have a burner and all that. Ortiz I have to get from another site... |
