He sounds punchy as hell in the interviews i've seen this week. I first noticed it after the first Ward fight, but it is progressively getting worse.

View Full Version : Win or lose, i think Gatti should retire after this weekend gnostic19 06-23-2005, 12:22 PM He sounds punchy as hell in the interviews i've seen this week. Gatti can still win fights. allanglez 06-23-2005, 12:26 PM Gatti's first language is French. What you're hearing isn't years of abuse ... its an accent moron. DR. FREECLOUD 06-23-2005, 12:28 PM Gatti's first language is French. What you're hearing isn't years of abuse ... its an accent moron. how old was gatti when he moved to the states? Truth 06-23-2005, 12:29 PM Gatti shouldn't retire if he some how beats Mayweather, but if Mayweather...when Mayweather tears him up retirement is his best option. allanglez 06-23-2005, 12:30 PM how old was gatti when he moved to the states? He was 20. += El Jefe=+ 06-23-2005, 12:31 PM its an accent moron. you are such a nice guy in the last 5 minutes you called Jack out now you are doing this are you trying to look for an argument man? jchavez12345 06-23-2005, 12:36 PM I'm one of those people that think gatti will get beat this weekend. but yet i dont think this guy should retire. He has a huge fanbase, and he is an exciting fighter. One of my favorite fighters to watch, unfortunately he is fighting a guy who is out of his league this weekend. DR. FREECLOUD 06-23-2005, 12:40 PM He was 20. yeah i just read his bio. very interesting stuff. i have always liked gatti. he is a true sportsman. mic573 06-23-2005, 01:28 PM Accent or not Gatti is starting to slur his words a bit. He's been in some great wars so something has to give eventually. gnostic19 06-23-2005, 01:58 PM Gatti's first language is French. What you're hearing isn't years of abuse ... its an accent moron. listen numbnuts, i've heard and watch gatti for the last 10 years. I know what sounds punch drunk and what doesn't. If you don't detect some slur in gatti's speech then maybe you've taken too many blows to the dome from all the beat-downs you've had coming. Regarding the comment by others that he's still competitive so should therefore continue to fight, that's plain selfish on your part. His brain-pan doesn't care if he's still winning fights. All it feels is the repeated pounding it's subjected to. MAXWELL_ 06-23-2005, 02:12 PM he's been in so many wars. and he's making big bucks in this one. he goes out a winner whether he wins or looses this one.hope he retires . KJ 06-23-2005, 03:33 PM There is at least one more fight I like to see Gatti in after (his win against) Mayweather: Arturo Gatti vs Ricky Hatton!
