do you have a trainer? there are a bunch of different ways you can swing the rope and move with the rope that will help you. its kinda like the speed bag. your trainer should be able to show you these. if he cant or you dont have one just ask. and i could try and explain them to you.

Alright, well theres a couple of different ways...
1. kick your feet out one at a time. so youd bounce on one foot and kick one out off the ground in front of you then bring that foot in bounce on that one and then kick the other out and repeat. all in fast motion
2. move your feet back and forth like a shuffle. kind of like your skiing. so left foot in front and right in back shuffle left foot back and bring right in front and left in back and repeat.all in fast motion
3. lift your knees real high and spin rope really fast. so bring your knees up real high to like your waist or as high as you can bring it in a running motion and spin the rope real fast.
4.bring your left foot out and get in your boxing sstance and bounce in your boxing stance then go back to jumping regualr and go back out to southpaw stance and bounce like that.
5. cross the rope as you jump. this one takes practice but you have to jump a little higher than normal and cross your arms and bring them back out all in one fluid motion. and jump high enough o give the rope to criss cross. one fast motion
6. jump real high and double twirl the rope. this one takes strength in your arms and some hops. focus mainly on consistent jumping. make sure the jumps are high and land on your toes pretend your on foam or a trampoline (thats what i do) and jump as high as you can kind kicking both your legs out in front of you and twirl the rope really fast. to twirl it faster than usual i move my wrists in small circle to kind of "throw the rope over me" dont just let it fly over you. throw that **** over.
all of these take practice and will make you timing, balance and footwork better especially the one where you switch stances from ortho to southpaw. but be patient and practice. this all takes practice.

Bro, Just keep practicing. No need to purchase a video. I was like you before but if you do it everyday you'll get used to it and everything will become natural.

yes.. if it hurts, it means the muscles are developing.
ore that his chin splints in developing.
is the pain in the muscle ore in the bone?

yeah sounds like you need some work
slimx- if its in your bones and you can feel it aching then it may be shin splints and you may be flat footed like i am and you need to go buy arch supports. or you are jumping too high, remember when you jump rope its small jumps your only jumping over a quarter inch of rope. so you should only be jumping and inch or so. if its like a soarness then its probably your muscles and should go away within a few days if the pain persists it may be shin splints.
