Corrales has 3 very impressive wins in his last 3 fights...that covers the what have you done for me lately part. He's only fought and lost twice to top competition. He's a 2 division champ and has put together an impressive resume. That covers the career aspect. He just KOed (not in the greatest fashion but give me a break with the nitpicking) maybe the toughest fighter in boxing who was riding a great streak at the time. It can certainly be argued that he could be seen as p4p #3.

Toney hasn't lost since '97, he's a 3 division champ who could have been (could still be) a 4 div champ if not for the stupid roids. His past career doesn't require any arguing with wins over McCallum x2, Nunn, Barkley, etc. His what have you done for me lately resume includes reviving his career against a top 20 p4p guy in Cruiserweight King Vassiliy Jirov, Holyfield, and a decisive beating of John Ruiz (there are two stances to take on the Ruiz fight...and even though it's a no contest, everyone knows what happened in the ring). The fact that a former middleweight is beating heavyweights is impressive enough...just think about Hopkins or Taylor trying to move up and beat John Ruiz...it probably wouldn't happen. You could make a case for Toney being ranked highly on the p4p list too.

True...but I was just making the argument for the sake of making the argument. I can see Toney anywhere from 10-15 depending on criteria, and I can see Corrales anywhere from 4-8 as well. I personally have James at 10 and I have Corrales at 6 I believe. I think my arguments are legit for those rankings. :dunno:

I dont understand why toney isnt in most p4p list. He should be top ten. He has proven that he could fight in any weight class and be a champ

Agreed upon...I don't see the need for *****ing either. There have been a lot of great fights already this year and there are many intruiging weight divisions that are very up for grabs.

Mayweather would probably still be on the list, but ranked about 7-8

After Castillo loss to Corrales he would become 7-8, Corrales would be in the top 3-5 (just because he lost to Mayweather before)
