i talked to an editor for rabbitpunchboxing.com and he thinks it might be lopsided the other way around i doubt it but i just hate the fact that he is using that name to his advantage when its just a publicity pitch

It is funny that it's the same name and all that but it will be a completely different kind of fight. First off, Chavez is lightyears ahead of Gatti. Secondly, Meldrick Taylor was a completely different kind of fighter than Floyd.

Taylor/Chavez I was the best boxing match ever in my opinion. It had everything that made a fight great. The uber talented, flashy fighter who was trying to take down the legend in Chavez, who was the king of boxing at the time. I think that fight had more drama than every fight in the year 2004 combined.

Gatti/Mayweather will be a lot more 1 sided and less interesting than Taylor/Chavez...

Did you know Chavez was 69-0-0 when he faced Taylor at 24-0-1, sort of like fighting Miguel Cotto now ;) .

i made a thread abotu this before, gatti's nickname is thunder and PBF moves like lightning so i dont think its makign a ref to JCC and taylor, alotuh PBf is fast liek taylors hands for the lightning part and gatti is a warrior liek JCC not as great but still a warrior so some reference can b made
