....I tried to look for those guys during the Quartey fight and then in between because I remember where they were supposed to be seated. I passed out on the couch and didn't even see the Johnson/Tarver fight though. I bet your not the only one who spotted them.

I saw you, me and my kid a time or two...and JD called last night to make sure we got home alright; he explained that only in Europe do they show some of the other 7 fights on that card..the ones that he was introducing! (hey Dr. remember how we ran out of time in me getting all those posters, etc ? He's gonna mail all kinds of stuff to me! Man, he is gold!)

ward did great! the ref stopped it in like the 3rd rd (was helping my kid look for winky, so I'm not sure) alot of peeps thought the stoppage was too early.

I saw highlights...it looked like that kid he fought was wobbling all over the ring when Ward hit him with the KO punch.

I agree with you guys, maybe what I said came out wrong. I'm a big fan of Ward's and like you say he's coming along just fine.

I guess what I was thinking was that there was a difference between Kost and the other guys I've seen him fight. Kost isn't a bigname fighter but Ward was really able to show off his skills against him after getting tested early on. That last guy he fought (fight #3) wasn't much better than a barroom brawler.

Anyway, didn't mean to come off like I was criticzing the guy.

the boys went to Beal st. to party after the fight, but I had my mini-me with me so I passed on the entertainment. I'm sure they had a blast though. On Sun. there was no time for anything like that...JD was busy and we all had to head home by then. :(
