Anyway, I have to disagree with what you said in your post. I don't think he can KO Hopkins, how can you say he'll KO a guy with a chin made of lead...I just don't see it happening, I never even seen Hopkins down or hurt, though I've heard about it...

I can understand how you say he'll get KO'd by Tito Trinidad, simply because of the way you saw him tonight, but I don't think he'll by like the rest of them who underestimated Tito Trinidad's power...From what I hear, Taylor packs a powerful punch, maybe he can stop Trinidad, especially with Tito's weak chin..

When we talked about this before the fight I told you guys what would happend, and I dont even think Taylor's that good. Joppy was a good fighter. A fighter that Taylor at this stage couldnt beat, but Trinidad ruined him. People make a big deal about the Hopkins fight but if you saw Joppy fight before then you know that wasnt him. He looked like **** in the Simon fight. The Joppy that faught Tito wouldve easily beat Taylor. He looked good in the Trinidad fight but couldnt handel the power and it ruined him

As for Taylor getting KO'd by Tito i think Taylor would last the distance but take a beating to the end. He's a tough kid and i do give him enough credit to last the distance.

Taylor did real well though he actually held back too much. It was sort of like Bojada fighting Jessie James Leija. He knocked down Joppy and shoulda went in for the kill. Joppy had nothing in him the entire fight. Luckily though Joppy couldn't turn it around as JJL did. Taylor is very schooled though needs to be more aggressive at times. It's the only thing I see him lacking and he let Joppy get off the hook in almost every round that he had something going. It shoulda been a KO last night. I don't see why not.

I don't think the reason he couldn't finish him was due to Joppy running, I just don't think Taylor could get the job done, Taylor is a good fighter, technically sound but I don't see what the fuss is all about, Eastman would beat him up, I think Strum would and given a weight shift so would Winky.

Joppy is not the fighhter he once was and the person who was saying in a previous thread that they never want to see Joppy in the ring again... well I think it might be your lucky day, certainly not on TV anyway.

Taylor came this close to putting the clown down. People are too hard on him who say he's weak cause he couldn't win by KO. Those uppercuts were brutal. Joppy's dancing was a joke and if he fought like he should have he would have been on the floor in 7 or 8.

I fully agree. Joppy humilated himself by turning into a girly-man and running for the second half of the fight. Losing is fine, offering yourself for sodimization is not. Joppy should not be paid and he should never be given a T.V. date again. He should be booed everytime he walks into any public arena and parents should tell their children to avert their eyes. His performance was disgusting not because he could not win but because he did not try to win. People pay damn good money to watch these men fight.

I got irritated with him for showing his ass like he did, but I try and see how frustrated he was. Taylor was completely dominating him...after the first 2 rd's I was actually starting to pull for the underdog, but once the 'show' started, and he started disrespecting Taylor by dropping his hands and all that nonsense I was wanting Taylor to knock him out! If Taylor had just opened up and not stopped throwing I'm thinking the ref. would have been forced to stop it ...I think he may have been glad to, at one point he did ask them something like "are either of you going to do anything" ..or something similar :o
Maybe he will take that payday and retire now ..one can only hope anyway :confused:

It would be good to work something like that into the rules except that it would be hard to enforce. You can bet that some ref is going to mess it up and DQ some guy who was just trying to get his wind back. Maybe have a strict system of warnings and point deductions leading up to a DQ and it might work.

He looked like Emmanual Augustus's retared cousin out there doing all that stuff. It would have been nice to see JT get him out of there

I don't think the fight should be stopped....but I do believe the comission should look into witholding part of the offenders purse.
