View Full Version : Tyson vs. McBride: what was more embarassing... !! Anorak 06-13-2005, 12:36 PM ... losing to a journeyman ranked outside the top 150 or losing to a man with the name Kevin? Shaolin Bushido 06-13-2005, 01:28 PM The fact that Mike couldn't come to the decision that he was done BEFORE everyone spent their hard earned bucks for that over priced fiasco. Or at least revealed that his heart wasn't in it. I'm betting he already knew the thrill was gone and hoped to "fake" his way to one last victory but just couldn't do it. Explosivo 06-13-2005, 03:55 PM I just think it's funny that there were still so many people in denial about Tyson. People actually thought (I talked to one the night of the fight) that thought Tyson could come back and win the title again. Man, I hope this finally puts an end to all this unrealistic Tyson bull****. Tyson got his ass beat by straight up bums, not once, but 2 times in a row. And dont give me any of that "he hurt his leg" vs Danny Williams bull****. Truth 06-13-2005, 04:40 PM I just think it's funny that there were still so many people in denial about Tyson. The old Mike Tyson would have killed McBride and Williams just like a prime Ali would have beat Berbick and Holmes. The old Mike Tyson would have killed McBride and Williams just like a prime Ali would have beat Berbick and Holmes. I agree but dont forget to add Lennox Lewis, Tyson woulda beat him 2 around 1995-1996. Tha Greatest 06-13-2005, 05:56 PM Mike Tyson said his career was ovr in 1990... kevvy1979 06-13-2005, 06:06 PM Nothing wrong losing to someone named Kevin, no not at all. Kid Achilles 06-13-2005, 06:34 PM Prime Tyson's chances against Lewis, and prime Ali's chances against Holmes are both subjects open to debate. |
