The champs, the contenders... who is currently the best? Vote now, and I'll leave this one open till January so you've got time to change your mind to Danny Williams when he TKOs Vitali in this year's shock upset...

As far as talent goes James Toney has to be up there with the best active heavyweights today, however, if I had to pick I would probably have to say "Iron" Mike Tyson.

I see where your coming from with Toney but how can you rate Tyson as the best? He got KO`d by Williams and hasn`t beat a world class fighter since Razor Ruddock ( and he wasn`t really world class ) in 1991. Tyson hasn`t done anything to show he is the best. Klitscko is not that talented just big and powerful, Toney is most skilled.

I'd say Toney and Byrd but from what I hear Byrd has been slipping quite a bit lately.

The Best Active is Vitali Klitschko, and I'm feeling a Golota comeback too. Let's see if Golota can come back and give us a few more good fights, I hope so anyways :(

In terms of talent I've gone with Golota. At his best (eg the Bowe fights) he'd beat anyone out there. Pity he's a nutcase.
