I doubt there would be any difference. Tito is in another class from Mayorga.

The Mayorga would have more chances, but is not much greater.

still same result
i dont think it was just the weight the effected mayo
he just comes up short skill wise

one could say that at welter tito woldnt be able to take mayos hit
same could be said for mayo
and we know tito can land alot easier

I dunno if Mayorga would have been knocked ou faster, but he would have been knocked out.

It would have been nap time for Mayorga even earlier. Tito is even more dangerous at a lighter wieght.

Other than an earlier stoppage, I dont think it would be any different. Tito is so much more skilled than Mayorga...in another league all together. Not to put Mayorga down, but putting them 2 in the ring together really showed his complete lack of skill. True, he has an awesome right hand, but that's about it. If he'd work on technique (which he has none of that i can tell) he might be a force to reckon with. But like he is now, if he cant catch you pretty soon then outboxing him is not too hard to accomplish. He get's frustrated rather easily, and then he starts to swing even wilder that usual...someone like Tito isnt gonna be standing there waiting on those wild punches. At welter wt. Tito would probably be even faster, and that would only make Mayorga look even worse. Not trying to offend the Mayorga fans, not at all, just dont think he's much more than a street fighting thug, and I think he lost the rematch with Forrest too. Just my opinion :o

Instead of Trinindad knocking him out in the 8th at whatever weight they fought, he would have knocked him out in the 8th at 147.

Tito at welter was a force. I think this probably has the potential to be one of the most exciting fights ever, as if the first wasn't exciting enough already. I too predict Tito would end the night a few rounds earlier.
