To me (and this is just my opinion) his new songs have no energy (regardless of how I feel about his voice... ugh). And he doesn't need to come at 50 to get attention. Just being away for 10 years, got him enough attention just getting out of jail. What he needs is good music, and IMO he's lacking that. Personally, I can't stand his new music.

Thats a good point. If anything his flow is what got him that deal with bad boy and made his mom happy.

I dont think Shyne switched up the flow at all. I think he just lost it. Lost it like when a short stop all of assudden cant throw the ball right anymore and has to retire. I dont think he could rap like he did back in the day even if he tried. This is his natural voice now from age, rust, and him just losing his old voice like the short stop. He dont wanna come out and say that so he has to make up crazy ****. I think even he himself wishes he could have his old voice back but he cant and if he tried then it would probably hurt him physically to do it and mess up his throat. Its just gone now forever

I disagree. I dont think its his voice. Its his flow, slang and swag.

I use to love Shyne, the song below use to be my favorite song of his. I can understand where he's coming from but then just don't rap at all. He's just ruining himself. I miss these days....

^ Yup those were the days. Shyne was ILL back in 1998-2000. Maybe he'll come to his senses and go back to his old style. I dont understand his logic because hes still rappin about street ****. Shyne was that dude when he went in but i dont know if he listened to eminem's relapse too much or what, but I havent seen someone fall off this bad since papoose. With that being said, i still think hes got potential. Hes just gotta chill with that accent

And that was never really one of my favorite songs from the Chronic, but it just didnt sound right with shyne rapping over it. My ear is still open to the new stuff hes dropping though, and hes still better then papoose :laugh:

One thing you have to take into consideration with Shyne is he did spend 9 years in prison. And theres no way you come out of that without changing at all. Even if he did practice rappin in jail, you still don't have beats to practice flowing too. Thats 9 years without being in a proper studio, thats going to **** you up a little.

Im still riding with Shyne. And the last few ciips have been better. I think hes getting his feet wet. Game said the same thing, that Shyne just needs to keep grinding and he can get back to good form.

Not hatin or nothing, but what's wrong with papoose? I always thought he was the ish. Ever since the touch it remix when i first heard him, then I dug all of the hardcore ish that I found on youtube. What happened to papoose? just wondering.
