Ruiz sent a open letter to the commision persuading them not to overturn the 2 year suspension (from fighting for that belt)that Toney got from the positive steroid results. If they dont overturn the ruling Toney wont be able to fight for that particual title till 2years from now. Ruiz doesnt want any part of a rematch, im not a Toney fan i think hes overated by most people but damn Ruiz is a punk!

yeah man , i dont really care for both of them, but Ruiz is always talkign about hes the best and he can beat anybody and for a second there i really thought he meant it and he really thought he was the best. Not like all the other boxers who talk about how they wanna face the best and not really mean it. If i were him and i really beleived i was the best i would be asking for a rematch to show im better than him, to show people the only reason he won was cause of the roids. But i guess Ruiz knows roids or no roids he cant beat Toney.

yea ruiz is a scrub. if he really believed he was the best he should be going out of his way to fix a rematch with toney and prove that hes one of the best.

ruiz's trainer norman stone said that the only way toney could've won was because of the juice. i think the only way that would be true would be if toney won by knockout. but toney didnt win because of power or speed. toney won because he was simply better.

AND I TOTALLY AGREE WITH THE MAN. SORRY I THIS PISS YOU OFF BUT IT MAKES GOOD SENSE. BUT IN THE OTHER SIDE .... RUIZ SHOULD NOT BACK UP FROM TONEY ...HE SHOULD TRAIN BETTER AND TRY AGAIN TO FIGTH HIM BACK IN ABOUT A YEAR AT LEAST ...I'LL LIKE TO SEE A REMATCH....DO YOU?

no rematch needed , it was proven that toney blasted out ruiz but with some "juice" .. i think it will go out a "little" same result in a rematch w/o toney's "juice".
