I dont know of any nutritionist or experts, but it seems like a lot of yall know what your talking about when it comes to a nice, clean diet. These are the things I usually eat everyday, so any suggestions and ideas would be appreciated.

BREALFAST after morning jog and shower

half a small bowl of 1/3 reduced sugar Frosted Flakes(I need some flavor in my cereal)
half a banana chopped in cereal
2% reduced fat milk
2 fried eggs

cup of orange juice
one slice of sara lee whole grain bread with honey, toasted with little bit of jam on top

LUNCH

small snacks throughout the day such as 2 eggo waffles, pop tarts, banana, instant oatmeal before the gym, sugar/fat free jello....

DINNER

come back from gym, eat either rice/whole wheat spaggetti with lean turkey or lean chicken. A side salad and maybe a pickle or two. Organic sauces only for the spaghetti.

LATE NIGHT MUNCHIES

a poptart, apple, banana, small bowl of cereal , some jello fat free pudding or Dannon carb control yogurt/
one teaspoon of skippy peanut butter before bed.(I got this idea from somebody on this site, forgot who)

I basically jog in the mornings, work all day, and gym at night. Im a newbie when it comes to all the dieting, so I hope to learn from other members. These type of things last a lifetime.

u should cut down on fruits at night.. actualli u shouldnt b eating any carbs at night b4 u go to sleep if u wanna slim down. bodybuilders they eat 5-6 small meals a day dats alot huh? well i dun do that cuz i dont wanna spend to much money on food.. anyways my diet is like this

i get up in the morning jog for 30min (i dont wanna do more than that cuz it burns ur muscle along with fat)

one bowl of oat meal and i have it with milk
for lunch im usually out at this time either school or gym.. i skip lunch cuz i dun have any money

i usually come home at 5-6 and have dinner i eat either steak/chicken/tuna i hate tuna but its good nutrition

but yeah thats what i mostly eat on the weekdays..
sorry but this is off the the topic.. but should i start boxing again im 20 yr old.. am i too old to start =/ i feel that ive gone slower after gym.. argh >< i dunno anymore!

Personally i would highly advise against the poptarts and maybe substituting it for something like nature valley granola bar or something, it has a lot less sugar and is better for you. also read the nutritional value of the orange juice because i hear some of them arn't so good for ya. drink lots of water as well.

Ok im no expert, but any means, but these would be my recommendations on what u have mentioned.

BREAKFAST
-Remove the fried eggs possibly replace with boiled eggs. (10x better)
-Take out the Frosties, replace with Alpen id say but dunno really any healthy alternative. Special K if thats sold possibly.
-U mean less than 2% fat milk. If so thats ok id say in the cereal.
-Yeah definetly check the orange juice. Make sure its fresh/pure.
-Take jam off the toast, butter is better i would have thought.

LUNCH
-Take jello, pop tarts, waffles out. Replace with fruit and cereal bar type things.

DINNER
-All good but sum people believe salad doesnt improve weight because fo the amount of water in it. Its all healthy stuff though.

SNACKS AFTER
-Spinksjinxs recommended the peanut butter before bed, he knows his **** so id go with that tbh. Also id say the cereal is ok. Take the rest of the **** out.

Thats all i can say sonny jim. I guarantee if u stick to that ull feel tired at the gym and even hungry during the day probably so id say up the intake of all the food i mentioned. Also take sum advice from others on the forum cos im not a genius at this ****, however id say my routine laid out there is pretty sound.

I'd get rid of all that milk and cereal and breads, loads of calories, carbs and fat. I'd change the cereal in the morning to oat meal, and the late night munchies to water, and a oat meal bar. For the water, I drink this flavored ****, tastes way better because I can't stand no taste in water. It's only 10 calories too, so might wanna check that out. Usually I have:

Breakfast:

Oatmeal (No Sugar) And I don't add sugar (put a banana in it) milks in it too

Lunch:

Rice w/ orange juice or water
or
the egg whites you buy in the store w/ orange juice or water
or
tuna sandwich with some tuna on the side with chocolate milk (it's like my own protein meal) its like 30 grams of protein. The tuna is 20 some and two glasses of milk is like 10g of protein.
or
salads

Supper:

Variations of what my parents make, if it's health I just eat it with no butter etc, or I just make what I put for lunch.

Or the stuff that spinx guy says, he knows his ****. white chicken etc.

I already told you the night snack.

This works for me, I mean, I'm having no complaints. Just broke sixty push ups and I'm only 13 lol.
