Anyone got anything to share about this guy? Opinions on his music, personal encounters, maybe, etc.
I just started getting into his music not to long ago.
The first and only album so far that I've bought of his is Songs of a Dead Dreamer album a few weeks ago. I picked it as a start partially because some of the songs on there are from the movie Slam, which I've seen. The album is amazing. I think it's a lot better and has more depth than Dj Shadow's Endtroducing. The music is real art. Like, you could just play it outside and everything that's going on, from a man sitting on his porch or a woman walking her dog would go perfectly with it. It's like a painting.
I'm hooked as hell on the song nihilism dub. I've had it on a loop for about an hour or so at a time.
It's a great album for meditating and or just clearing your mind.
