Dominic guinn had a chance to show he was still a good prospect after his loss to monte barrett, WHAT was he doing? He obviously does not have the mental make up of a champion and should retire if his heart is not in it, what is the point in doing something halfheartedly??

hed be a complete shell of what he was even more so then he is now

what now for him, he lost to someone with no stature in the boxing world as yet and to be honest i dont see this foreigner as champion.
He really let himself down, he has no heart :(

Guinn got outworked-he showed the same problems he's always shown-no inside fight game, way too methodical, and just not hungry enough. He mentally is just not a fighter. Sergui looked soft in the body but showed good skills and great bodypunching, which is rare in the HW division. At 28 he can make some noise if he gets in better shape . .

Guinn had spots but never pressed it, on paper an easy fight for Guinn but his demenour all the way through showed that he did not want to be there.

I think Michael Grant rubbed off on Guinn.

i don't know, he is so talented just doesn't use it anymore. It's like he is just there, i thought he was going to end the fight in the 6th round after he had the guy hurt in the 5th, only, in the 6th he didn't throw any punches. i don't know what is wrong with him. he is so good, but his heart seems to be elsewhere. he acts like he just lost his dog. i am so pissed right now. I'd take Jirov vs. Toney II any time over any fight. The first one was one of the best fights I've seen. However, I don't think this fight will happen unless it'll become mandatory at some point in time. Who knows? :confused:

yeah that was a great fight, one the the better fights i have ever seen. i don't think it will happen because jirov is too much of a threat for tony but offers nothing to toney because he as already beat him. toney should just move forward and win a title.

maybe toney could go down and take on the winner of tarver-johnson

I mean he had one good meaningful fight and what else and worse, this guy gets another break to be in front of a nationwide audience and comes in fat.
