That's cool. I picked up on one for Made You Look. It's Apache by the Sugar Hill Gang slowed down a bit. Listen real close and you can hear it. It blew my mind when I figured it out.

I remember when Nas came out with 'Got Yourself A Gun' using the Alabama 3 sample. I was going crazy. My favourite rapper using a sample from one of my favourite bands. A sample like that hasn't caught me off guard since.

The best samples come from that album. It's a masterpiece. If you don't presently own it, I highly suggest it.

thanks, man. This is a cool thread. Now I can listen to the originals and see where the inspiration for the beat came from and see the progression of the transformation.

wow, it ain't hard to tell has loads of samples on the track! Large Professor was like the Kanye West of his time!
