I went to my first concert in 10 years and it was my first rock concert in 21 years.

My ears were ringing and my feet hurt, but I had fun. :D

I need to get out more. :p

That is one of the reasons my old ass does not go to clubs any more. I'm hurting all day the day after and hungover is no way to go through life.

Prolonged exposure to high decibels can create a condition called TINITUS. Which is very bad. Your eardrums never heal. One of the only, if not THE only part of your body that never heals, so once you damage it, you're screwed. Basically tinitus is a constant ringing or a white noise in your ears that NEVER goes away. People have comitted suicide from it. It's real bad. There's nothing wrong with having a good set of earplugs to bring to a concert. Ones that will still enable you to hear the concert, but will lessen the damage to your ear drum. As a sound tech, I've gotta get my ass a custom set of earplugs, or I'll have some hearing damage pretty quick.

It is more from the young girls behind me screaming than anything else. From what I understand, he has earplugs available for kids that come to his concerts. Which I think is cool.

Jesse's Girl. The ONLY song I knew all the words to. :p

I’m surprised that our technology still hasn’t reached the level of inner-ear transplants! One day...one day. I’d want a K-9/human hybrid, that way I could hear little flies feeding and buzzing their wings before I kill them.
