I'm talking about in its bid for the 2012 Olympics. Do they really think that the IOC, which is run mostly by Europeans and headed by a Frenchman (he's Belgian, but close enough) is going to award the Olympics to America after all the **** that's gone on?

I guess now that they've gone this far they have to keep going. If I lived in that city though I'd be pretty pissed off about this.

haha Bloomberg at least has more sense than to sell it that way...if the bid city was Washington, I'm sure you'd hear that sort of spin.
