View Full Version : Toney will fraud us again in 6 month!!!
Eyeh8you 09-27-2004, 02:20 PM As you are aware of Toney suffered a Torn Rotator in his last fight and will be out at least 6 MONTHs. I am willing to bet he will fight anotherWARMup fight against some no talent bum, yet all the while will claim he the best damn heavy out there (LMAO). I mean this ******* is cooked. He old and can't go more then one fight w/out injury (He'll be 37 by the time he gets into ring again. Any Top 15 Heavy beats him at this point. Now come on huggers come and attack this thread w/all the TONEY is GOD crap!
LMAO
vB Martin 09-27-2004, 02:31 PM I don't think Toney is the best heavyweight out there, but he's definitely the man to test the best. His style is definitely unique and old school.
For those from the other thread:
A torn rotator cuff in the first round at 36 years old, yet he hung on, pounded out a decision, and will be back to fight in 6 months or so? hmmmmm
Eyeh8you 09-27-2004, 02:34 PM my point is he too old and injury prone to be a major force in the division, hell he also too old also. He just the latest of the great black hope

Vitali's ***** ass quit on the stool, Toney is rugged and a throwback torn it one fought like a champion until the 12th and final bell....
Toney has heart :D J/P
Explosivo 09-27-2004, 02:46 PM I dont think being out for 6 moths is a long time. How long has it been since the great Vitali Kitscko had a fight?
Truth 09-27-2004, 02:46 PM :D Some people on this site are funny, its like they pick one fighter to hate for no reason. Eyeh8you did Toney do somthing to you to make you angry. Or is it because he talks trash, which is a good thing for the sport and its ratings.(they hype up some fights) Explain what Toney did to make you hate him so much?
NichtGeflechten 09-27-2004, 02:48 PM I dont think being out for 6 moths is a long time. How long has it been since the great Vitali Kitscko had a fight?
Vitali will have had 3 fights in one year the night he knocks Danny Williams out.
Truth 09-27-2004, 02:56 PM Where was it confirmed that Toney would be out 6 months?
Nick54 09-27-2004, 03:00 PM Where was it confirmed that Toney would be out 6 months?
For real. this is the first i've heard of this.
realheavyhands 09-27-2004, 03:04 PM damn true indeed
realheavyhands 09-27-2004, 03:06 PM usually you right ..but williams is too big for vitali if its a knock out it will be very late
NichtGeflechten 09-27-2004, 03:06 PM It won't go 6 rounds.....it may not go 3.

It's only been 5 months since vitali fought and he is fighting again in early december...The most active a champion has ever been in years.
NichtGeflechten 09-27-2004, 03:11 PM Every injury Toney is suffering is consistent with the use of anabolic agents.....his bodyguard friend obviously is a long time user he suffers from classic HGH generated acromegaly.

Vitaly is good for this sport.
TheGreat1 09-27-2004, 03:12 PM For real. this is the first i've heard of this.
this is just another case of a hater, hating, thats what they do. They feel like they can talk **** about fighters but fighters can't talk **** about other fighters. when this happens it takes away from talent. bull****. Toney has made a great comeback, hasn't lost a fight in almost 8 years now. you have to respect that. You can talk about his punching power but he is the only man to KD jirov and only the 2nd to KO holy. he has something. And the top 15 don't want to see him

exactly. So to the haters out there, 6 months aint ****. Its not like he was going to fight next week or something anyway.

you are damn right , eye8you just like to diss black fighters , which is useless and pointless. he ain t doin no harm to the fighters by spreading news and insults in the net ( who gives a **** about a post in aboxing forum?) , he is waisting is redneck time and polluting the website.
and yes toney is a big problem to any top HW , plus did you notice that he got stronger and cut ?he may not be that oversized against big HW.
as nichtgeflechtchen pointed out , he may be using steroids (prone to injury , gettin bigger , and agressive behaviour...)
spinksjinx 09-27-2004, 03:26 PM Every injury Toney is suffering is consistent with the use of anabolic agents.....his bodyguard friend obviously is a long time user he suffers from classic HGH generated acromegaly.
Nicht-glad you point this out, I feel I am not the first finally....Their has been speculation of James Toney to use steroids for his comeback which is why 4 weeks before the fight he was battling "weight problems" and now he is pretty ripped....well for toney's standards...
Glad to see this observation and bring it to attention as well...
Thumbs up!
TheGreat1 09-27-2004, 03:29 PM you don't have to use stroids to get big, hell i was 145 lbs, now i am 215 no drugs involve just working out everyday, and eating good.

No way the way Toney looked is "natural." He is on steriods. Toney looks very much like Tyson now, and this is only a year after moving to the heavyweight class.
In boxing, among top heavyweights, Jirov and Sanders seem to have natural looks. I am not sure about the others.

you were 145 ...
did you use proteins ?
BTW i used steroids on medical purpose , the amount of the intake was far away from the one of a bodybuilder and still i got bigger and had more energy and recuperative capacities.(well i was VERY weak so maybe that s why the effect seemed so strong)
so i can tell you that it s quite possible tonet juices up, he has all the side effects i suffered ( his bones must be gettin bigger too)

Brewster looks natural, i hope Toney is not using steriods, i have alot of respect for him, but i can't back a fighter using any type of drugs. hopefully he just worked hard for a month and toned up, it is possible.

Actually i used to realy like Toney. **** talkin doesnt bother me. BUt he has been hyped up so much as the best HW it's laughable. In another thread were discussing Toney/Jirov 2. And I say Toney beats Jirov again in another great fight. I just know that any legit top 10 heavy will put James out. Toney is the latest hype job and I don't like that
PERIOD

it's a good thing no one cares what you like, remember Toney is the # 1 HW right now.
neils7147933 09-27-2004, 06:34 PM This DOES, however, delay a Toney title fight. He was negotiating with HBO for a December date. Now that won't happen. He's likely to vacate his WBO ranking - I don't know if the injury will hurt his WBC standing or not. I imagine Vitali or Williams schedules another fight in the meantime - a rematch if Danny wins, perhaps, or Vitali might fight a Monte Barrett while waiting for Toney.
Neuraxis 09-27-2004, 06:39 PM Apparently a lot of fighters didn't pay the WBO their sanctioning fees. Toney is nowhere to be seen on their rankings. 1 and 2 are Whitaker and Wlad.
neils7147933 09-27-2004, 06:42 PM I guess he wasn't interested in fighting Brewster. That makes sense since he was ranked high by the WBC, too, where the "recognized" title is. I wonder why he cared about the IBA belt, then?

I dont think it delays it much, Vitali has a fight which is 3 months away and that is when toney is supposed to heal so unless he stages another "comeback" it wont effect at all, however the weight might come back....
Also greatone, not disputing the fact that toney could have done it naturally but 4-5 weeks prior to the fight toney was talked about being overweight and fat and such and you and I both know from lifting that we dont shred fat and get ripped in a matter of weeks....If toney knows one thing it sure isnt about eating healthy :D ....Im just messing with you Toney is a great fighter and we need to get him off that injury list and into the ring....If toney does induce steroids I dont hate on him I compliment, how many boxers in the world do you think take them? I say millions....They might not be exposed but their is the obvious....
neils7147933 09-27-2004, 09:34 PM you don't think he'll need another "tune-up" coming off an injury before he fights a champ?
spinksjinx 09-27-2004, 09:41 PM you don't think he'll need another "tune-up" coming off an injury before he fights a champ?
Toney doesnt have time, I dont think he would jeopardize his chances...His injury isnt very serious and I guarantee you that james wont take the full 3 months off maybe a month and a half....But then again toney might not have anything to worry about as he might not have to fight vitali after his fight with williams, if williams won (and their is a chance) toney would easily take williams with no pressure as opposed if he fought vitali.
neils7147933 09-27-2004, 09:42 PM I would imagine if there's no immediate Williams-Klitscko rematch, that first defense will be against Tyson. Tyson's still ranked in the WBC last time I checked - the only organization with him in their top 15.
Yarmez 09-27-2004, 09:47 PM Not a big fan of Toney, but if he beats top contenders i will give him his props until then, I will not give him his props.
Dr.Depravity 09-27-2004, 10:02 PM I bet it will be six months before he can even train again. After the surgery. Man we need some new blood in there at Heavyweight to stir things up.

I can't believe what a good post this was.
And it was from soooooooooooo long ago.
