Hatton: "I can see a bucket full of Gold in front of me, and I've already jumped over the highest hurdle. I won't let this chance slip, I know that if I train hard enough then they are my fights to lose. Give me two years from now, just two years and I'm done. I can't look too far ahead, but hopefully the winner of the Gatti-Mayweather can fight the winner of the Hatton-Corrales. I don't want to be fighting in 2008, I don't even know if I want to be fighting in 2007. I want to retire on top. I think a win over Corrales and a win over Mayweather, both in America, would be outrageous stuff. But the thing is that it's more than realistic! I've always dreamed of winning big fights in Vegas and stuff, and now is my chance to go over there and get some great fights on and just try to prove that I am the one. Gatti, Cotto, there will be plenty of options throughout next year. I'm like a kid in a candy store, I've already beaten the best so I fear none of the rest!"

YEah , He wont last long 140. There was alot of doubt about Tszyu because he has fought a total of 3 rounds like in the last 2 years . Hatton will be demolished by PBF , Or Cotto . He will get his Pot of gold , he will collect it with his Loss

Hatton may be getting little overenthusiastic...Retire by 2007?? Is he going to clean out the division by then? MAyweather and Corrales would be great fights...hopefully they happen, although I would rather see dumb-ass PBF get KTFO by Gatti..maybe then he could go into womens' boxing since he seems to like beating up on the ladies.

well of course if you are someone who hates uk fighters, you would not have any doubts, if you are a serious boxing fan it is different

when they both announced their gameplans and hatton's one sounded a lot better (and more realistic, zoo said he wanted to be like srl against hagler, zoo like srl), I started thinking hatton could get it and also thought it will be a lot harder for mayweather now, cos zoo woulda been easier stylewise

and of course 3 rounds in 2 years matter... remember liston?

i used to hate this guy, he used to seem so overrated...

now id probably favor him or give him a good chance over ALL those fighters mentioned, except maybe mayweather...cotto needs to make up for that corley tragedy...

only way i think to beat this guy is to outbox him in a boring fight...he fights like mayorga with skills...and a great body attack...

I'd feel the same way if i were him.
What better to try to retire at the top of your game.
And if not, at least reture filthy rich :D

Juyjuy

where the heck did u get that quote

its sounds like bs, a misquote or something they got out of hatton when he was wasted last night, thats not hattons style at all.

unless that can be credibly backed up id say its trash.
